Mick and Lucinda are wonderful, they make recording a breeze and in my experiences recording, it doesn't always go that way. They were attentive to detail and very accommodating. Great vintage gear and spacious studio, I felt very at home and knew that we were in good hands.

Red Room studios is an exciting new recording studio located in the Arts District in Torrington, CT. The vetted session musician couple that run it has traveled the world with major rock star acts but remain bafflingly down to earth. Mike and Lucinda are extremely accommodating, having recently agreed to perform from the studio's roof top for a Make Music Day concert. Whether you're looking for a professional sounding demo or to produce your next chart buster, seriously consider the Red Room for a pro quality expertise with a friendly touch.

The Real Deal-
I'm so happy to know that there's a studio, run by two wonderful people, in the Northwest corner of CT. They do an incredible job, and are truly incredible.

Here is my “honest” 5 star review of this studio! Lucinda Rowe and Mick were very welcoming and very kind! They went out of their way for us at a low price because of how young we were. I was recording in their studio as part of an upcoming young heavy rock band. Lots of fun memories! But it gets even better! Lucinda Rowe went completely out of her way one random day to abruptly unfriend me on Facebook…….. I didn’t think much of it because it’s just social media and who honestly cares, right?

But later on at a close friend’s birthday party that she was also invited to, Lucinda completely ignored my presence.

This was because she heard from another band mate that I wanted to record digitally at a different studio, to get a more modern sound because they only use tape. And yes that was true, but it was never anything personal at all. It was just wanting to adjust the band’s direction of sound style.

I wasn’t even the one who told Lucinda. The band mate did without my knowledge, and not knowing that she would react the way she did. I don’t hold it against the band mate. The abrupt ghosting & not acknowledging my existence at an in person event was how I found out. To make matters much worse, she was the table right next to mine. And it was very clear from her body language that she did this ghosting behavior with clear malicious intent, in attempt to get under my skin. I was 20 years old, and she’s at least double my age.

Truth be told it did have an effect on me to think I had a friendly professional relationship with someone who suddenly pulled the rug from under me with no emotion or will to at least have a civil conversation. I do believe deep down that both Mick and Lucinda are very kind people. However, Lucinda clearly lacked professionalism during my experience and I respectfully interpret a part of her behavior to have been somewhat devious and ill intended when she felt the need to be. The relationship was in very few ways personal between her, Mick, and our band. But as a team, there’s a sense of professionalism that suddenly went missing on Lucinda’s end. So before you go to this studio, I would question getting too close because it felt as though if I’m not loyal to her studio like I would to a church, she was bound to burn bridges with me as quick as the snap of a finger without my knowledge.

This is my story, and every single part of it is true. I’m sure my story is not the same for everyone. But I’ll let my story do the talking. And I hope this review saves your spare time…..🙏
