Riverview Cinemas 8 & Playhouse

Jen & I have been here plenty of times to say it’s a great place to watch a film with family or friends. Thank you to the staff there for its welcoming environment.

Staff very courteous and helpful. Seating is fabulous with reclining chairs, wide aisles, and no obstruction of your view due to angle of theatre seats. Good selection of drinks and snacks. Coffee lovers may be disappointed that coffee is not served.

My favorite movie theater!! It’s always clean and the recliner seats are so comfortable. Relaxing and cozy ambience to enjoy a great movie :)

10 dollar ticket price draws you. The environment and the seats have you coming back. Clean establishment and parking lot. Safe place :)

I've gone to this theater a couple of times and the staff is friendly and the seats are very comfortable. The sound system is excellent!

This is the nicest movie theater I've ever been to and it never disappoints. Every room has the reclining and warming seats it's so comfortable and relaxing. They aren't dirty like Danbury amc. The movie quality is also high so you don't have to worry about watching movies in low quality.

Quiet, clean cinema. Great to go to on a weekday. The seats are really comfy and spacious. I love that the buttons are indented a little bit and not right where the thighs are so that you don't accidentally change the seat position. Plus the cup-holders are in a great position so you can actually rest your arms fully. Good price comparatively.

Very comfortable chairs, friendly staff, overall an excellent movie experience. Even the floors are incredibly clean- imagine leaving the theater without sticky feet- that's this place. Also, I suppose it's because this place isn't part of a huge chain, instead 20 minutes of ads before a movie, we get 5 minutes of trailers. This is my favorite theater.

Clean, comfortable, and great food offerings! This is a great spot to watch a movie. It’s also in an excellent location if you want to grab food before or after. Would highly recommend this theater!

A hidden gem in plain sight!
Though it's a modern day structure, there is an element of nostalgia. With an intimate vibe, the theater offers cleanliness and good staff. Even the walk back to the car brings you to a time of safety and peace. Capturing a wonderful night out.

Comfortable, heated recliners are the best part of seeing a movie at Riverview. The movies are general Hollywood releases which can be seen just about anywhere, but the seating is truly unique 👌.

A wonderful local cinema with great healthy options for snacks and smoothies as well.

A really nice theater - friendly staff, tons of parking, and those SEATS! Everything is modern and high end - the screen, sound system, and the luxury chairs that recline and heat.

Pricing is in line with other larger theaters, but it’s well worth it for the experience.
