This is an incredibly busy pharmacy! But Elyse, the pharmacist in charge, went out of her way one evening, so that I wouldn’t have to travel to Naugatuck to get a new prescription that they did not have in stock. I so appreciated her customer service! Thank you Elyse!

My favorite cvs. I drive over from Newtown CT bc this location is always super quick and the lines move super fast. Maybe I shouldn’t be sharing this little hack, because it is so good!
No dis on cvs in Newtown, great staff but slow outdated computers that makes lines move very slowly.

This is cheers and I am norm. The place where everyone knows my name!! They are always helpful and explain things completely if you need the information. Better than walgreens

The five stars in this review are for a specific employee who works in the pharmacy. Her name is Kiara (spelling may be wrong) and she deserves a raise and a five star review. We visited this CVS on the night before Thanksgiving to fill and pick up a prescription. We were told it'd be a 15 minute wait so we decided to wait there. It took about an hour due to the fact that they were understaffed and the one pharmacist working who could approve prescriptions and assist was tied up doing vaccines for like 6 young kids who were not cooperating. Poor Kiara was working the register and taking prescription orders and having to deal with customers getting upset about the wait time and that there was no pharmacist available. For the whole hour we waited, I saw her keep her cool and treat everyone she interacted with with kindness and caring. She rocked! When we finally got our meds filled and went to check out with her, she thanked US for being kind and patient! We made sure to tell her thank you for her great work and attitude in a stressful shift. <3

The pharmacy staff are really hard working, and at times this can be a very busy place. They took the time to look into and explain a prescription cost change that my insurance company kind of brushed off.

CVS in Southbury has the most helpful pharmacists & staff I have ever encountered. I love visiting that store. It is so clean and organized very nicely .

Have been shopping at this CVS since they opened, over 30 years ago. Probably shopped there over 1200 times and have never...not once...had a bad experience, either with the pharmacy or the store. Are they busy at times? Yes. Do you sometimes need to wait longer than you'd like? Perhaps. But it's not bc they're slacking. It's bc CVS is utilized by so many people and not just from Southbury! Residents of Woodbury, Middlebury, Roxbury, Oxford, et al, also shop there. And, hands down, it sure beats Walgreens!

Absolutely amazing store! The pharmacy works so hard, and the store manager is the best manager ever! She always does such a wonderful job with making the store stay clean, and that her employees are efficiently working! She needs a raise!

Felix at the drive thru is a rock star haven't met a nicer tech in a long time. Makes me feel like he cares... Rock on Felix. Asks how I am doin and says gave a great day and means it. I it's the little things that make a difference. Thanks buddy

Friendly staff, always ready to help, I visited a few CVS in the past. The one in Southbury is my favorite because I always find everything I needed there 👍

Jennifer at the front counter was so kind and helpful. I couldn't figure out my coupons and she was kind enough to take the time to help me!
