Colonial Subaru

We’ve bought and/or leased five cars from Colonial and serviced them all there. While a little more expensive than a third-party shop, in our experience they have always been reliable and stand behind their work. You absolutely get what you pay for. Art and his team (especially Ryan, Eric, and Steve) work tirelessly to troubleshoot difficult problems and don’t give up until the issue is resolved and we’re completely satisfied. An additional shout out to Jim Wright in sales whom we’ve known for nearly 25 years and who will bend over backwards to make sure everything is perfect with our new (or used) cars. We really can’t say enough good things about Colonial Subaru.

We just purchased a CPO forester from Colonial Subaru and couldn’t be happier with our experience. Our sales consultant, Milton, was friendly, patient, helpful, and not the least bit pushy. He was genuinely excited to find the right vehicle to meet our needs and budget.

My car was towed to Subaru during the night and I was contacted the next morning acknowledging it was there. The advisor, Eric was very professional and courteous. He kept me informed of what was going on and was flexible in adding the 18,000 miles maintenance service.

I had an excellent experience today! Eric in the service department understood my concern and took me in right away! The care and respect (even in my gym clothes) were top notch!! Thank you so much for your excellent service and attention! It is so incredibly appreciated!

I would like to share my experience buying at Danbury Subaru. I always wanted to by a brand new car. I was very privileged that Hamid help me to choose the correct one. He guide me thru the process and was very patient with me. Hamid showed me to be knowledgeable with his job, but not only he made me feel very comfortable he made me feel welcome to ask as many questions as I needed and I know that I made the correct choice. I recommend not only Hamid to sell you a car but the correct Subaru car. I am proud to finally be part of the Subaru Family. Thank you Hamid!

My daughter just purchased her 1st car at Colonial Subaru. Our family had already purchased cars at this dealership and had worked with John who was incredibly great. Unfortunately John was out with a family emergency when we went in to talk about purchasing her new car. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Natalie and Malachi. They were sweet, knowledgeable, patient, kind and made our experience a great one!
Buying a car can be a very unpleasant experience due to unethical or just annoying sales tactics- we had a wonderful experience at Colonial Subaru and my daughter drove her new Forester home that day!

Very polite and respectful. They are a high volume dealer so that obviously comes with a wait time for service. They chit chat with you the whole time and continue to check on you. Before you know it the deals done and you’re on your way home. Definitely a nice place to buy a car.

The best car leasing experience I’ve ever had.

Kelly was exceptional, I’d recommend anyone work with her. Carlos was great to work with as well.

We were on the fence about leasing a car after having several terrible Toyota dealership experiences. We have never had a Subaru before. Kelly was incredibly thoughtful and helped us find something that matched our needs. She made leasing a car an easy decision and process for us.

Malachi was a patient, polite, and knowledgeable gentleman and it was a pleasure working with him, from our first phone call through our detailed “lesson” on understanding and navigating all the features of our new Forester. All the people we dealt with were easy-going, pressure-free, and kind.They made a potentially stressful experience a surprisingly easy process.

Milton at Colonial Subaru did an excellent job answering all my questions and working with my budget. It was an easy seamless process between working with sales and the finance department. It was quick and painless. I would recommend anyone buy their car at Colonial.

Absolutely fantastic sales/service consistently. Always fair and honest. Purchased one car from them and I got such a good deal I went back and purchased another car. Also service my cars there. Montana and Ryan in the service department are kind people, who understand how important a car is to young families. Nice people who do quality work. Highly recommend.

As always, Ryan was amazing. He is kind and patient and knowledgeable. It ended up being a minor repair, but my loaner was a new 2024 model and I loved driving around in it. All in all, it was an extremely pleasant experience.

We had an AMAZING experience with the Danbury Subaru location. I drove up with my twin 4 year old boys to the service area and were greeted so warming by Wes. He walked us into the check in area where Ryan took care of us with the checking in process. Ryan was very knowledgeable and organized. The process was so smooth and the transition to the loaner vehicle was great. Ryan and team are extremely great at communicating and updating us on the status of our vehicle. We were very impressed all around. The invoice generated by Mike Fau was so easy to follow. We will no doubt being continuing our services with Danbury Subaru. Living over a hour away does not matter because the service is worth the trip. Thank you to the whole team!

Great customer service, everybody was very friendly each time I’ve ever come in for regular maintenance. The car runs great. I’ve never had any issues. I like their little Starbucks coffee bar that they have in there, it’s self-serve, so you can make it how you like it.

Greg Palanzo, Service Consultant did a terrific job in diagnosing and resolving the issue with my Outback today! He was professional, knowledgeable and very nice. Greg is an excellent representative for Colonial Subaru.

Service dept Sarah was kind, patient and beyond helpful . Also made sure I had a lovely loner car because I needed immediate transportation due to a sick loved one

I had a phenomenal experience with Fred and the team at Colonial Subaru, who were professional, warm, welcoming, attentive, and got me in a great vehicle! I had been looking for a used Subaru on a budget. Fred was my contact and even though I was shopping around at several dealerships for something in my price range, Fred kept in touch with advice and updates on new inventory, and found me a great car. His colleagues in service and finance departments were equally professional and warm. I highly recommend Colonia Subaru to anyone who wants a great car and personable, stress-free service!

My service advisor Ryan was very helpful and understanding of my vehicle’s issue and worked with me to try and troubleshoot it. In my opinion, that is great service and I was pleased to bring my car to colonial for my repairs
