AMC Danbury 16

The screen is huge, the sound system incredible, the stadium seating is steep so no one in front of you can block your field of vision. Well worth the ticket price for an action/adventure film in my opinion. I saw Mission Impossible there and so glad I did. By the way, their caramel popcorn is to die for!

Read a lot of reviews regarding how filthy this place is. I saw the very first matinee of the day and I can't say the place was spotless, but nothing like what folks stated in words and documented in pictures. Perhaps that's the secret - go as early as possible if you can.

This was our first time at this theater and we really enjoyed it! Overall it felt like we were back in the 80s and we really loved the nostalgic feel of the place! We chose the Dolby Cinema theater and the sound and picture were great!

This is a local theater. I have enjoyed many movies in this theater. Most recently, I have gone to see the first 6 episodes of Season 4 of The Chosen.

Watched the movie Saw with my daughter in the Dolby room #8. You get to pick your seats on the computer where you by your tickets. The seats were incredibly comfortable, leather and reclining. Very clean theater and bathrooms. My only complaint is the concession stand did not have a lot of items available which made no sense bc we went to a 5pm show. Definitely recommend.

AMC Danbury 16 is good! I used to always come here to see movies and it was great! Going to the arcade in the back was always fun. There’s plenty of parking. Huge theater screens. Good seats. Definitely a good theater! Have a great day!

Watched Top Gun in Dolby Cinema! Very pleased with the sound and picture quality. The reclining seats I reserved were not working so we couldn't recline them. I spoke with the manager at the customer service desk and he let me choose another set of seats that were working. Fortunately the theater wasn't too full so I had some decent options. After moving to our new seats we enjoyed the movie experience very much!

Went to see Killers of the Flower Moon. The chairs recline and are leather. Much more comfortable. Popcorn still the same and sodas have some nice options.

One of the few theaters in the area with Dolby Cinema. it's an amazing experience for watching those big movies. Saw Endgame and the battle scenes are amazing. The IMAX theaters are also very nice.

love this theatre it’s so big and there’s never too many people there. i’ve had entire theatres to myself before it’s amazing.

Very super clean and easy to obtain ticket . But to Sad concerning when people's decide to trach everything else outside and without authority watching those criminals to do so.

It's great seeing the theater have many disinfecting stations and the staff diligent in being Covid-19 compliance.
The theaters and bathrooms were clean and the short break to escape to the movies was great.

I saw Beyoncé of course I had a good time like it was so fun. They staff are always so nice 10/10 recommend.

I got to the theater about 10 minutes early and an friendly employee helped me at the kiosk to purchase my ticket. The seating was standard. I didn't see if they had any theaters that offered reclining movie seats. I loved the movie I saw called The Oath.

Update: The theatre is getting a complete rehab! The place is looking great already! — “A list” member, go several times a month. Friendly staff. Always Clean! Home away from home! Know most staff members by name! Great place! The dolby theatre is top notch!

Totally comfortable experience, we will be back many times. They already had automatic ticket machines so not much needed to be updated there. Snacks were still good, employees still seemed happy and the ticket price was a nice treat as well 🎟

Our grandchildren love it here. Lots of movies, ticket kiosk, easy to use.

Nice theater. Gets crowded at times but it’s big enough to handle the volume

Mouse poop on the floor, wallpaper peeling off with a yellowish film behind it, rude staff, stale popcorn. If you’re considering this theater, go to Riverview Cinemas in Southbury it is much nicer and they have heated seats

this theater is much more busier but the floors were cleaner. I went to see avatar , before the official release day and the theater was about 85% full..nobody bothered anyone. It was great. If you are looking for something extra extra memorable, pay the extra bucks and see it in 3d! It had been a long time since I did that , wow it was soooo good. I'm sure seeing it in its normal format is good but with the holiday spirit , I said " let's do this". Very good times! Merry Christmas, happy holiday
