I love to get my laps in here because it is level, and a gravel surface which is easier on my legs and knees too. I wish it had lighting for night walks , but the sound of the river is soothing.

It has a quarter milestone just a walking track which is well maintained and has a quite a nice death to it which makes it easy to walk on. However sometimes you do have to dodger baseball when it gets hit by the kids playing baseball there. You also have to be careful where you park your car in case they decide to hit a ball into the parking lot and maybe smash your windshield.

Nice peaceful place for walking around the track or going fishing in the Pomparaug(?sp) River.

Quarter mile, crushed gravel track. Better for walking than running as the gravel is like running on sand. Half the track is shaded in the afternoon, which is a welcome relief in the summer. Usually not many are there, except during baseball season.

Baseball can be distracting because parents often sit right near the track, and kids like to play on or near it. Could use an active water fountain. They're almost always off. In all it's a great, peaceful place to walk.

Nice park with multiple fields and a batting cage.. Walking path around back fields is nice for those watching practice/game.
