Denny's

Although there was only one server doing everything alone ( other than cooking ) she did an awesome job and was very polite and professional. Noel thanks. Food wasn't bad. I couldn't wait to dive into my pancakes. Thanks Danny's

First time here. Food was great. Pancakes were even better than IHop. Everything was delicious and carefully handed out. We only waited like 15 min for the food. George was our waiter and he was kind, nice and very quick. Definitely coming back for lunch too.

Suggestion: a little air freshener in front of restrooms.

We were at the end of a long trip and stopped for breakfast, we were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress came over and did an amazing job checking on us and making my boys quite comfortable. The food was done quickly and was good. One of the boys had pancakes and scrambled eggs, the other orders chicken tenders and fries, I ordered my favorite ham and cheese omelette it came with home fries I ordered I thought they were chunks of potato's they were shredded I didn't like them but it was cause I didn't like them not the cooks fault they were cooked well the kids like the menu puzzles. It was really good we had a great breakfast!!!

I Love Denny's !!! Breakfast 24/7 --- What could be better?! I had my favorite - The Super Slam, because it comes with pancakes AND hash browns, a long with eggs and breakfast meat. I chose to try the Biscuit with Sausage Gravy but wasn't impressed; won't do that again. I did however the baked apple crumb thingies I chose for dessert. The great thing about Denny's is that, when the company decides to try new things, they leave the old standards alone. Thank Heavens

Last visit we sat at the hightop seating.
Our waitress was a whole vibe. It was super busy and she was all over the place helping, assisting, all while taking care of us and doing it with a smile and great vibes. I loved her. I wishes I remember her name. She was a reddish blonde, taking care of tge front of the house. Seating while serving. I'm assuming she was managing.

But kuddos to her. Her personality was electric and made our meal. Thank you

Everything was very good. The waitstaff was pleasant and prompt. The food was tasty. It was a great experience overall.

Food was tasty, good and hot. Staff was great. Older facility, but food makes up for it. Don't count them out by their appearance.

Food is always delicious!!😋 Staff is always on point, professional, and friendly. Stephanie is a great manager. Robin and Mark have been there forever and always a delight!!

I was treated to an all inclusive ten course meal, sampling the very best of modern French cuisine. From escargot to "flamé du resevioús", I highly recommend this local bistro for it's quality, luxury, and experience. The duck drizzled in bechamel sauce was the highlight of the evening!

The food is amazing 👏, the people are awesome, I would know bc my mom works there and she's great 👍. The place feels like home.

Nice and efficient Denny's restaurant around this area. Very clean dining room, fast service. Very busy location even late at nights. Open 24 hours.

While on our way back home from New York, we stopped at the Denny’s Diner (621 Queen St. Southington, CT). Everything about the evening was great, the food, the service, ambience, everything was great. An hour into the journey back home we realised that my son has forgotten his favourite stuffed animal at the diner, and he was really upset and that’s something he can’t let go off easily. We reached out to the diner and see if it was still there and luckily it still was and the old lady who served us and the manager ( Stephanie) were kind enough to keep it safe in the office and reached out to us the next day got out details and shipped the stuffed animal back to our home in Nashua, NH. Our son was so happy and we really appreciate the kind gesture. This is something my family and I will never forget about and something which will always stay with us wherever we go.

Had not been to a Dennys in close to 40 years. We pulled in to grab a quick bite. Pancakes were the best ever. French fries were really impressive. So good that I'd come back just for those. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Robin is a lovely waitress. She treated our family with a positive attitude, humor & a smile. The pancakes were yummy ~ my daughter didn’t even need syrup! Always a good meal. Definitely coming back.

My father's favorite place anytime of the year. He would rather go to DENNY's than a five star restaurant. We lost the one by us in Wethersfield because cars could see the employees cars behind the building were all employees must park, so people thought it was closed. It used to be open 24/7 & then Covid hit, and messed up a lot of people's businesses.

I searched for one, but couldn't find one close enough. All were OVER an hour away. Driving around figuring out were we will eat while out that way, and hadn't seen it for over a decade.

We decided to go to El Sombrero's for Mexican food.

At the light I turned my head and Said, "Look.. Denny's dad ! You want to go !?
He said, " Is It open ?
I said, "Cars are in the parking lot."
Again I said, "So do you want to go in" , as the light was about to change.
So he thought a bit an the light turned green, and said, " Hurry up !" & then he said, "...Well, ok...I guess if they are open."
So we both got the Nachos. ❤ 💛 😆 🤣 😂

It was even old fashioned looking except for a few things.

(They just need to paint the sidewalk going into Denny's as it has many decades of dirt, and grease from people footwear, and is well worn out. Very few other things, and we didn't mind.

No USB ports, and I didn't bring my wires from the other car, and they only had 2 ,120 volt outlets to plug in a adapter, and the wire, but those tables were takin' anyways.

Even if I carried a adapter for an outlet I wouldn't be able to use it.

My USB charger can charge my phone 5 times @ 20,000mAh. And Mt phone has a 4000mAh battery in it, but it held its charge till we got home at 3% as I turned off the data as it takes the most energy.

Still love the Nachos there, and asked for extra Pico de gio, as they seemed to just sprinkle in on like a seasoning.

But we\I have loved Denny's for decades ! 💜(although an outdated place I really love it. It is the almost original Denny's)

Horrible old lady manager she needs to work on management skills and learn how to talk to her employees and understanding they understaffed. Good employees kept it professional even when the old lady was yelling at them infront of customers.

Ask for Shelly, but all these great servers will take care of you. Evening the busiest of shifts they never stopped smiling.

Been eating here with my wife for the last couple of months. Our waitress today, Noel, heard me mention that I liked the place and suggested I write a review. We enjoy eating breakfast at The Southington Denny's . Food has been good, service is excellent even though they are short staffed. Place has been clean every time we've been there so far. Can't beat the prices.
