ShopRite of Southington

While traveling from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania I was asked to stop in Connecticut and pick up Hummels hot dogs for a friend. This store was easy to get to from I84 so I called to see if they had the hot dogs in stock. Gabe in the meat department went above and beyond for me, checking for the product, telling me the price, and even holding some until I got there. Thanks, Gabe, for the excellent customer service! I appreciate you.

Best grocery store in town. Great prices. Good quantity and variety of weekly sales. Consistently excellent produce. Bowl & Basket store label regularly impresses and seems to be putting out new products every week; comparable to Costco's Kirkland Signature for quality/value.

Very nice place to get a nice lunch at work,I love all these Shoprites with a buffet, is 7 dollars a pound, feel fresh and very good taste.Staff is always friendly,smiling and available to help you around the store.

Enjoyed shopping in store. Wide variety of choices for products. Prices were good considering these times. The staff and servers were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Easy on and off highway.

This Shoprite is the best. It might look out dated compare to the new ones. But man the staff there makes you feel like family. Their always egar to answer your questions and help you find what your looking for. Plus their breakfast sandwiches they make are great and only 2.99 and fresh and filling .

Today was my first visit to this Shoprite location in Southington. Since the closing of the Waterbury store in October 2021, I think many people in my area have been struggling with 2 local choices: Stop&Shop and their ridiculous prices, or Aldi, which is great but they don't carry all of the things we need. Since I still get the Shoprite flyer, I decided that, with the beginning of the annual Can Can Sale this week, a stock up of the things I need was in order. And I'm so glad I made this little trip!

This store has everything that the Waterbury SR did, and the sale prices are EXACTLY THE SAME as what they were last January! It's organized, well stocked, and clean, even though the aisles are really narrow and the store is smaller than the Waterbury store was. The people stocking the shelves were working hard to keep this packed store in order, and these people were extremely helpful and considerate. And despite the crowd of shoppers, the lines at the registers moved really quickly.

Overall, this was a great choice for me. It's closer than Bristol, it's right off the highway, and the parking is pretty good, too. Anyone from the Wolcott/Waterbury area needs to check this store out (and get gas in Plantsville on the way in or out of Southington; it's $.40/gallon cheaper!).

Stopped in to pick up a few things on my way home. Nice atmosphere, clean and colorful. The produce section looked beautiful and very organized. The didnt have nutritional yeast which is what I was really looking for but I got a good sale price on a few items I always use so bonus. The people who work there were very helpful and nice.

ShopRite is My Store! Bowl & Basket products are Top Tier! 🙌🏾🛒🧾 Saving Money here is Plentiful. Enjoy!

I was so surprised to see a nice salad bar with fresh fruit & veggies, two types of lettuce. The deli employees are so very nice. Shop-Rite had everything I was looking for to meet my weekly grocery budget at a good price.

Great place to grocery shop! Excellent produce, seafood and Deli depts. The pricing rivals the bulk warehouse stores and you do NOT need to buy bulk! Employees are always pleasant, very helpful and most importantly, accessible. Unlike Wal*Mart, where you have to search out the clerk to locate an item... Shopping at a Wally world is like going on a scavenger hunt, you're not saving any money, and their store brand is mediocre, at best. Shop Rite is BY FAR the best deal on town for quailty food.

They have deli meats most of the other stores don't have and yes they don't have things others have but it's close easy and quick . Update we got some lobsters here 6.99 a lb well 5.99 with an extra coupon they were some of the BEST we've had. we had them steamed there brought em home and wow super sweet meat best lobsters ever . And they usually have them on sale they also have had the best corn on the cob this summer I've always been a big y guy but since I've been shopping here I haven't looked back way to go shop right you've got my business

Great organization at this crazy time of pandemic we are all dealing with. It’s great to get groceries without going in the store. Pick up staff is great. All fruit and veggies were the freshest. Great service!

ShopRite has the best bakery of all the grocery stores!! I have yet to have something that I haven't enjoyed there. And prices are reasonable.

I love this store. I'm not sure why some people got a bad experience because I have never had hard time even if I have a complaint they always try to help me. Great hot bar, absolutely love the sushi bar and soup and salad bars as well. Best donuts especially their smores and salted caramel donuts. I am a faithful customer and will continue to come back.

Always well stocked. Can never find Tropicana OJ in Bristol when on sale (I've hit it wrong 90% of my visits) but Southington always has it. More selection in the bakery as well. The hot case for meal to go (or sit at small table) is always good. They obviously know their customer base.
