Black Oyster Jewelers is an amazing jewelry store. I had by Breitling watch serviced and they did a fabulous job. By par perfection. l was very pleased with the time-frame and service. The store has so many wonderful pieces of jewelry that you do not find in other stores. I always purchase something when I go in. Mara is extremely knowledge of the jewelry in the store and makes so many wonderful suggestions. It's a great place for gifts and holiday shopping.

About 2-3 years ago I brought my badly broken Seiko here to get it fixed. On top of intrinsic value it held a lot of sentimental value. Now it’s the only place I trust my watch to as I was so impressed with the owners’ knowledge and the customer experience.

I have also bought jewelry there for my wife. Again, always a tremendous customer experience. I can’t say enough positive about the owner and her store.

Very unique jewelry shop! Excellent service and beautiful jewelry, in all price ranges. I originally went in for a gold necklace repair which I was very happy with, then got my watch battery replaced in just a few minutes and left with a gorgeous handmade pearl necklace! Oh, and they also take in items for consignment, so now I'm selling a gold bracelet I haven't worn for years and will buy myself something else.

Absolutely love the redesign that Mara did of my old engagement ring! Added yellow sapphires (yellow is my birthstone) to the sides of my solitude diamond. Can't stop looking at it! It went from a ring that sat in my jewelry box to a ring I will wear every day! Describing it does not do it justice! I wish I could share a pic! Mara was fabulous to work with and pays attention to detail. With her expertise this ring really pops! Couldn't be happier!

Can't say enough about these folks! Thanks to them I can wear my wedding rings again! Both my engagement and wedding rings were cracked so badly I just kept them in my jewelry box for years. Mara had done several delicate repairs for me before-I'm really tough on jewelry! I decided to trust her with my precious rings so I could wear them for our 25th Anniversary!
Oh my gosh when I say better than new--incredible! We did not have much money back then. Since the gold was so thin, I asked them to bond them together and make them stronger! They even placed a bigger diamond in the center of my claddaugh ring. I tell people that it's like us-stronger together and our love has grown! ❤

I had an incredible experience with Black Oyster. We handpicked an emerald, custom designed a necklace and she even overnighted it to me in Calfornia. My girlfriend said it was “the nicest piece of jewelry she has ever received” and I’m not even sure she likes me all that much, so you know this place is as good as it gets. Would recommend 10/10. I had a necklace repaired here with a fine chain. It is precious to me, as it was a gift from my son. The repair looks like a big blob of shiny solder. The chain doesn’t even lay straight in that area. I told her I didn’t think it looked good... The proprietress was angry and asked me what would I expect? She is not a miracle worker. It is in the back anyways. I never asked for a refund or anything. Merely told her I thought it was a poor job. So I am out $40 and still have to buy a new chain. I guess the problem I had was her angry reaction so much more than the poor repair job. Rude and, well, hurtful. Not recommended.
