Yougu Hibachi & Sushi Lounge

Fast, excellent service. Tasty food. Dropped in for a quick lunch and was not disappointed! Had a few Sushi Rolls from their lunch specials. White plate was the Lovers Roll, my favorite! Calamari was absolutely perfect. Will be returning tonight for hibachi!!

As first timers we had an awesome experience!

We went on an early Thursday evening with not a huge crowd. Service, speed, and cleanliness we're all top notch.

The sushi itself was great and tasted as fresh as it could get. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to go back and probably try the hibachi next 👍

Excellent food, the service is wonderful! I had a hibachi chicken dinner, the chicken was great, free range and tasted great. The hibachi area is also really fun to go to with family and friends. It makes a great night out. The place is usually pretty lively with other people in the hibachi area also. We will definitely return!

Our favorite family restaurant! First off, the sushi is excellent. We’ve eaten and ordered takeout at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed. But on top of that, it’s just the friendliest, most accommodating place for families. They’ve got a quiet room with bigger tables where families can feel comfortable. We’ve got a 3 yr old and a baby grandson, who are reasonably well behaved, but obviously, not sophisticated diners. The staff are friendly and accommodating with the kids and the service is really fast. My husband and I have also gone alone without the kids and grandkids, and that’s been a lovely experience as well. Honestly, for food, ambience and service, we could not ask for more. We are committed patrons. Well done!

The sushi was so good and fresh plus it came with great presentation. Hibachi was amazing too!

Had a little bit of a wait on a thursday for a table which was fine..sat with a lovely family celebrating their sons birthday. Food was very good, kids enjoyed. Prices very reasonable compared to fairfield County hibachi spots.

Date night with my husband! We did the hibachi and had alot of fun! Their salmon roll is so delicious!!

Have been doing take out here for awhile but decided to do a mommy-daughter date tonight so we dined at the restaurant and I’m so glad we came here. I was a little nervous since she’s only two and can be a handful sometimes, but the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Loved our little date and the food was great too.

I celebrated my birthday here and they did such a wonderful job of making it so special. We got hibachi and the chef was so fun and enthusiastic. The staff was so friendly to my 7 yr old and made sure she enjoyed herself.
The food was great just to make it even better!!!

This place was amazing, most hibachi placed overload on sauce making food very salty! Here they added just enough and made it fun for my three year old. Offering her baby saki which is water 💦. Was fun, entertaining and food was delicious! Would highly recommend. The owner even gave my three year old a blow up unicorn headband! They accommodated my child with a child size chicken and noodles rice and broccoli hibachi! Great portions, great staff! Well deserving of a 5 star rating!

Great atmosphere, great drinks, better food. Fantastic waitstaff, fantastic service speeds. shout out to Liz for the amazing drinks! Love coming here after work for appetizers and drinks. The Kobe dumplings are to die for try them you won’t be disappointed.

The food here is amazing! Very good flavors and not excessive with salt. (Which is a very good thing because the flavor is still there.) The service is astonishing, which promotes the quote by them "cooking is fun". It is especially amazing for kids with the excitement and tricks they perform! ( Especially because this review is coming from one)

Best sushi in Cheshire and some of the best in the state. The staff is so polite, they even wait for you to taste your drink before leaving your table to make sure it's to your liking. The crunchy salmon roll is my favorite!

This was our first time eating here and it was awesome! The food was made fresh infront of you. The chef was great and accommodated the kids when he did thr sake for the adults, he did water for the kids. Definitely would go back! The drinks were good as well. Recommend trying the Yougu passion martini. Best to go mon-thur in order to enjoy the experience. They gave the kids balloons, which was a nice touch.

Staff, service and food were all top notch. They went out of their way to give us an awesome experience. The crazy tuna roll was Dynamite, as was the kobe dumpling and vegetable dumplings. The hibachi was very entertaining and delicious. Some of the best I've had. We will definitely be back in the future to enjoy this fantastic place again!

We went for dinner on the Wed before thanksgiving w/my sister and 2 nephews. EXCELLENT all around experience. The "show" was great and my nephews really enjoyed it (they are 14 and 13). They ate everything on their plates…and there was a ton of food there. Chef was very personable; wait staff was attentive and unobtrusive. Highly recommend.
