Stop & Shop

I wouldn't listen to angry Joe below, this is a solid grocery store and go there multiple times per week. Highly recommend their pickup option as it's given me hours back every week to spend with my family and is always a quick experience.

We do our grocery shopping here every week, one of the best grocery stores in the area, what I like about this store in particular is that they have everything well organized, all the shelves are always or most of the time fully stacked.
Also the staff is very well customer service oriented.

In and out majority of the time in 10-15 min and they have bathrooms that are decently clean, employees are always above and beyond with their help.

I love the employees at stop and shop! They always have positive attitudes & always make me feel welcomed & appreciated! Y’all work hard! God bless you! ❤🥰😘🤗❤

This stop and shop has a large array of products. I can always get in and out quickly. They have a good dairy free and gluten free assortment.

Best place for your regular groceries! Wooo! The butcher shop will cut up a prime rib roast for you and Tina's Burritos are a must have from the freezer section.

This stop and shop is the best. Never has someone treated me so well. Matt actually reached into his own pocket and spent money of HIS OWN, so I didn't have to go all the way to my car to get the extra money my card wouldn't cover.
I'm so grateful 🙏🏼 to have a store that treats every patron like family.

This was my first time at this location. I was very impressed!!! The store was so clean and organized. The man at the deli was so sweet and I didn't even have to wait, I typically have to wait about 5 minutes.
They had everything I needed in stock which never happens at the one I go to. The staff were all polite and very friendly. Checking out (I scan and bag ad I go) was so fast, there was no line. Again I'm used to waiting a while.
I will definitely go out of my way to shop here every week.

The people at bakery section is so good! I was unable to find the bagels i wanted and they offered to help. They went and found those from the back and got them immediately 👍🏼👍🏼

The best Stop and Shop I have been too! The remodel looks really nice. The meat and seafood section have really improved from a few years ago; use to not buy them often but shop those sections often now. The workers are nice and ar always aware and there to assist. Only downside are the shoppers who do not wear masks but that has nothing to do with the market.

Very nice store. Caters to upscale neighbors. Different culture compared to other stop&shops I am accustomed to frequent. Grandson didn't like bagged chicken I bought. Likes "Big Y's" better and the one on Reidville Dr., Waterbury.

It was a very pleasant experience this morning at Cheshire Stop & Shop. That rooms were extremely clean and fresh smelling. Which is always a nice thing. You calm during the day afternoon it sometimes smell something horrible but I don't know if what the reason behind that is but it's always a pleasant experience going to the Stop & Shop. I had spilt one iced coffee in a jar that came in a four pack and there was someone who came by and pick it up right away they're very good about that in Cheshire always like keeping their store neat and clean and up to snuff. I believe this is one of the cleanest stores in my surrounding area which is why I always come here.

This store has nearly everything I need. It's easy to recycle bottles and cans. If I need to do a quick run and just grab a few items, or if I need to buy a two whole shopping carts worth of supplies, I come here. The lines are quick and the staff are helpful and friendly.

I actually like this Stop & Shop better than the average. There is one cashier there she talks to everybody she's super sweet she does her best to remember things about you when you go to her line. She makes me laugh sometimes even with your sarcasm you could see it all in her face although she's very professional she's a lot of fun. The cashiers name is Terry.
I often come in around lunch time to this particular Stop & Shop because they'll make your sandwiches fresh for you while you're standing there if you want especially with me because I like particular kind of cheese on my sandwich. Even the guy at the courtesy desk is super friendly every time you walk by who got a super big smile on his face you don't see that very regularly and grocery stores. I have to admit I don't like not in the least bit feels like it's watching you every time you step down the aisle. They should really do something about that

I've always had great customer service. The store is big, clean and has plenty of variety. The prices are up and down, but if you have the app they always are giving out awesome coupons to save you money. Awesome store.

I recently bought flowers for our Daughter's wedding at the Stop and Shop in Cheshire. I was very impressed with Onella. She was wonderful to us from the beginning when we began to talking to her through the day I picked up the flowers. All the flowers were beautiful. We could not have been more satisfied with her service and the quality of there flowers.Thank you for having such a wonderful flower department.

Clean store with friendly staff. I use the salad bar often for lunch and it is stocked with good quality vegetables. I do wish they had items on sale more often that didn't require buying in multiples.

With the weather turning freezing and Thanksgiving tomorrow, I expected a lot of stressed out cashier's and deli workers. But to my surprise, the employees were extremely helpful and courteous. Great job!

They offer excellent options for vegan products. I haven't found any grocery store or even any other Stop & Shop with so many different types of foods available for vegans other than Wholefoods. They are less expensive and closer than wholefoods (45 minutes from my home) Unfortunately this particular Stop & Shop isn't the closest to my house it's
still only about 20 minutes. My only (slight) problem is that I can't seem to get customer service to mail me a circular from the Cheshire store weekly since i live closer to at least 3 different Stop & Shop stores. Maybe someone will see this review and start sending me circulars or explain to customer service that not all stores sell the same items. In any case, thank you Cheshire Stop Shop!
