I scheduled an appointment for Dr. Petrowski months ago for a day in June at 930. I had scheduled it in February..... A month before my appointment, I received a phone call stating that they had to reschedule my appointment due to the Dr. Not being available that day...but they did not have anything until September 5th!! Ridiculous. I am a type 1 diabetic with a lot of other medical difficulties and have been waiting very patiently to get a primary care dr up here since I moved 2 years ago. Today, I woke this morning super sick due to allergies. I called the office to confirm time for 930 because I remember I asked for the same time considering I live an hr away. I asked to confirm my time and before I could even say anything else the woman I spoke to seemed annoyed because I had missed my appointment for 8am. Then she said that because it was my 1st appointment that they would not reschedule with me. I woke up very sick this morning, I never got any appointment reminders, nor would I have made an appointment that early being an hr away. I really don't care about the policy of " well now you got to call around and find a new Dr." That to me was/is very unprofessional. Especially considering the circumstances.
