Margaritas Mexican Restaurant

Amazing chicken nachos!! Food here is delicious and a must in Mystic. Margarita flight was super yummy! Great service by the bartender! I am always here when I visit this town! I apologize to the amazing chocolate place next door for accidentally posting this review under their name. I fixed it and yes Mystic River Chocolate is another yummy place.

Enjoyed a really lovely lunch with 2 of my daughters. Margaritas is a "go to" restaurant for us. There was a very short time several years when the food quality slipped- but that's been corrected. It's a great place to go- and there isn't a lot of good Mexican food in New England (said as a gal that grew up in So California. Where the Mexican food is all fantastic...)❤❤

All restaurants can have a bad day and disappoint their customers but this was not the case. We had the quesadilla and the Margarita's Famous Taster. Food was hot, order was correct and the drinks were delicious. Special mention to our waitress, Grace, who was wonderful. She was prompt, attentive and very personable. She was the cherry on top for a great evening at one of our favorite eateries.

Went on a whim and glad we did. Loved all the Mexican folk art work. We had to go down an alleyway and up some stairs but it was worth it. Our server was pleasant and helpful. We were served warm chips and some super yummy salsa. Our food came out fast and was soooooo good. They also have this super cool margarita flight. This is a must!!!!

Mystic is overall a great family and kid friendly get away but we were extra blown away from this restaurant. Not only kids are free for lunch but the food was great. Wasn’t exactly authentic Mexican but doesn’t matter, it was delicious and fresh. Great booze selection and the fish tacos were great. Btw the host was so friendly and nice he gave my kids free sombreros. The kids loved it.

It is our go to restaurant for Mexican Food. This place has multiple levels of seating and is packed on weekends. Located in downtown parking might be a pain. However there’s a paid parking available right across the Street. Staff are great and food is delicious. Fish Tacos are must try along with burritos.

Absolutely amazing food and service!! Wife felt like Mexican food and we came here on a whim. There was only one server working and he was holding it down like a true master. Very friendly and helpful he was as quick with the drinks and chips and salsa. I had the steak chimichanga and my wife had the sampler. Kids both got the kids nachos. Everything was stellar and we would not hesitate to come again; most likely soon!

I walked in as Jess was chasing a customer down to return their card. I found the staff to be involved in the establishment. They cared about what they did. There were promoters there from Dos Equis’s that we’re pushing for the establishment that were engaged and working towards the fulfillment of the customer experience. The salsa was fresh and fantastic. The crowd was a party crowd. They were laid back and friendly. The bar staff was very polite and engaging. They had a clear understanding of food preferences and wanted to make sure that the guests had a good time. I recommend them. Just pay for the parking. It is worth it.

Food was delish as always! Considering the high cost of everything nowadays this restaurant is very reasonable. I highly recommend it. Also it was my birthday and they gave me a sombrero to wear! Super fun!

Great service, great food. The food did take a really long time but it was all so great! Great portions, great flavor, exactly as ordered. Upstairs is open for indoor dining still.

The enchilada muchachas and enchilada banderas were superb! Excellent service from Danielle C. especially since we were at the restaurant around 3:45pm - clearly in between lunch and dinner! Great atmosphere! The hostess that greeted us when we arrived seemed tired and unwelcoming but Danielle more than made up for that with her pleasant, attentive, and friendly demeanor! The person that made our food was polite and very attentive!!! Great restaurant!!!

Staff did a great job for a catered event on site.

My family and I sat outside on the patio. It was beautiful and the music added a great touch to the night. Our waitress Sophie was very attentive to our table and gave us a wonderful experience with wonderful food and service!

Awesome as always. Picture is of the raspberry smoothie. The stuffed pepper meal that they only have on Friday/Saturday was very good - really recommend that if you like peppers/cheese/mole because the flavor was great. Kids loved the chicken chimi app. Enjoy!

Been here 3 or 4 times now love coming here the food is amazing and the drinks are good. Service is a little slow and there is no reservations , so you could wait 20-30 mins for a table but I personally think it is worth it.

I didn’t actually eat here on Monday July 10, 2023, but I did sit on the patio at Friar Tucks. We watched about 60 people walk up to the door only to realize it was closed. Fun people watching opportunity.

We stopped in during a weekend trip to Mystic, it was the best food and drinks we had while in town, as well as fantastic service. Cienna, our server was so awesome, hospitable, knowledgeable of nearby fun and of her menu, and skilled in her craft. The margaritas were the best in Mystic (and trust me, I tried most of them!) and the food was delicious. I am gluten free and they made sure to be careful with my food and I left without even a stomachache.

The queso is my favorite thing on the menu. Margaritas are very large and the fajitas never disappoint either. Service is always great. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Mystic wanting Mexican food.
