🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 My wife and I recently enjoyed a casual ride that led us to Mystic, CT, and what a delightful surprise it was to dine at S&P Oyster Restaurant and Bar for lunch! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a welcoming atmosphere and an incredibly friendly staff operating seamlessly as a three-person team. The dining experience was nothing short of magical, with each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, truly showcasing the culinary skills of the kitchen. Parking was a breeze, adding to the stress-free experience. But what truly set our lunch apart were the views—absolutely breathtaking, they added a special touch to our meal that we won’t soon forget. I cannot recommend S&P Oyster Restaurant and Bar enough for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Mystic. Excellent experience. The food was delicious. The place was super clean including the bathrooms. Service was on point. The place is right at an inlet bridge. The sites, smells and tastes were fantastic

Wonderful views of the CT River in a bright airy dining room. Service excellent and friendly. Beautiful presentation of perfectly cooked cod, salmon and clams. Don’t miss the calamari!

If you are visiting Mystic, then you can not miss this restaurant. The people are very nice and attentive. The food is good (try the New England Clam Chowder), and the place is attractive, with a view of the river. A must if you are staying in this town or nearby.

Superb meal. As always, S&P delivered delicious seafood, perfectly prepared with attentive service. Shrimp special appetizer brought a very nice preparation to perfect shrimp. Seared scallops in the pasta stuck the landing. Carmelized and not a bit chewy. The seasonal cocktails hit fun and tasty notes. We make S&P a routine stop on trips to mystic and they don't disappoint.

We enjoyed our first time here in early February. The atmosphere was quiet and upscale, with great views of the water. Pictured are the Bouillabaisse and a mixed seafood special. Both were delicious.

I came here for the first time with my husband, and the experience was amazing! Great service and excellent cocktails. The Octopus a la Plancha was absolutely to die for. If I had known it would be that good, I would have skipped the entrée and ordered more of them. Oysters were also very fresh.

My only slight complaint would be for the Thai Calamari. It would be nice if the sauce were served on the side so that the calamari retained its crispy texture. The appetizer came out a bit soggy because it had the sauce on it already. The Seafood Ambrosia was a bit bland as well, but I haven't tried other things on the menu. Either way, I definitely plan to come back! Love this place, and the views are beautiful in the summertime.

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of downtown Mystic next to the drawbridge. ** Put in a reservation at least 2 weeks prior to your visit to guarantee seating ** Atmosphere was very nice even with a full house of patrons inside. The waiters we had worked as a team (TJ and Jeremy) and were wonderfully efficient and friendly. The gluten free options were very good and the waiters had great recommendations. We skipped an appetizer and ordered the homemade squid ink pasta and the gluten free colossal shrimp scampi risotto special which came with scallops. Both were absolutely delicious. Dessert was equally tasty as were the cocktails, strawberry basil lemonade and the perfect storm. We will definitely return in the future to dine here again.

There was a small wait when we got there, but it was only an hour which was surprising given the time of year, so we opted for the hi-top outside. The oysters were fantastic, as was the seasonal salad. Usually I get the bouillabaisse and my partner gets the salmon, but on the advice of our fantastic server we split the paella and couldn't have been happier. It was cooked just right! Another enjoyable experience at S&P

Came to Mystic to celebrate our 1st Anniversary and ended up coming here. Boy are we glad we did!!!! The service was top notch, the food fresh, innovative, and delicious, and the view spectacular. The weather was perfect which was the cherry on top.

Will definitely be back when in the area again.

My partner and I had the pleasure of dining at S&P for our anniversary. We were served by Jeremy and Julia and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The service was absolutely amazing, I couldn’t decided between two entrees so Jeremy offered to combine the two and make a special dish. He was very familiar with the menu and his recommendations were phenomenal.
Julia was very attentive and helpful! We never ran dry on drinks or had to wait to be helped. And we were there on a busy Friday evening! They we’re both attentive, entertaining, and happy to help.

The ambience was incredible. Very romantic and charming.

This was our 2nd visit. The first time was for raw oysters and drinks at the bar which was perfect. Second time we went for dinner. I had halibut over a risotto and vegetable. The fish was perfectly seared and cooked. My husband had a special swordfish with a spicy mango salsa and coconut rice . Both of us had 2 cocktails. The price was reasonable for a venue overlooking the water @ $224.00 including a generous tip! We will return!

Beautiful view, the staff was so helpful and nice. I got the Ny strip steak which was absolutely amazing! Will be coming here again on my next trip to Mystic.

Alfonso was tremendous from start to finish. He knew the entire menu from front to back and was able to guide our meal decisions as we have never dined here before. We will definitely return and will request Alfonso again. A great asset to this establishment

Im from the Texas/Louisiana line and we know oysters. This was one of the best fried oysters I've ever eaten. Filet was SUPER tender and good flavor. Excellent place to go.

Haven’t been here in a while but might as well post a review. Last time I went the restaurant had an amazing view of the harbor while I was eating. Also, the oyster platter I had included many different types of oysters and was outstanding. When in Mystic you must give it a go!

Oysters 🦪 were incredible + the service was immaculate.

We received excellent beer and wine recommendations and although we had already eaten our way through Mystic…we had to eat some coastal oysters, and oh my goodness. Buttery. Mignonette sauce was delectable. Clam chowder (cause when in New England of course). Wish we had time to enjoy a full meal.
