Oyster Club NEVER disappoints. This has been my favorite restaurant for many years. From the classics like the steamed mussels and house made tagliatelle- to the ever changing innovative dishes that Chef Renee and her team create based on fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The cocktails are always well balanced and dangerously yummy. The atmosphere is lovely- it almost feels like you are dining in a well-packed house. The service is impeccable- knowledgeable and friendly staff always ready to answer questions and anticipate needs.

Arguably one of the best places to dine in Mystic. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. Amazing selection of oysters.
Great menu and amazing dishes. The ambiance is amazing whether it’s inside or outdoors seating. Great staff, very knowledgeable and attentive. We’ll be back soon as this is one of our favorite places in New England. Definitely worth the drove from NYC

We've been regulars at the Oyster Club every time we visit Mystic and celebrated New Year's Eve there recently. The exceptional food and service have never disappointed. The New Year's prix fixe menu showcased innovative dishes, and we particularly loved the bread with foie gras butter, squash bisque, scallop crudo, and halibut. Looking forward to returning on our next trip to Mystic! Highly recommended.

I fully enjoyed my experience and meal here.since this is one of the more popular restaurants in Mystic (for good reason) i highly recommend reserving a table ahead of your visit. It was easy to make a reservation to ensure that we would get seated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and they have a happy hour that's from 4-5 where they have some food and drink items significantly cheaper which we fully took advantage of. I would 100% recommend this place compared to some other restaurants in Mystic. Also the oysters are super fresh here.

Got the recommendation from Eater Boston and I'm glad we went here. I would recommend showing up around 3:45 for happy hour since there was a line out the door when we got there at 3:55 and they only do happy hour in their bar section. Service was very friendly and attentive with our waters. The mussels were a pleasant surprise. They were steamed in a coconut milk broth which reminded me of southeast Asian food. The new England chowder was less thick than expected but still satisfying. The butter served with the cornbread was mellow but the flaky salt on top was great.

If you’re looking for an oyster bar with great prices, great menu options, and not super crowded, then this place is perfect!! It was our first time here and it is a hidden gem!! We took a day trip from NJ, and decided on this spot. The bar seating is great, you can see them shuck fresh oysters and it was by far the best we have had. We split the mussels and the ribeye. If you get the mussels, get it with the sourdough bread. The ribeye is amazing, cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our server, Wendy, gave us great menu tips and we are already planning our trip back! This restaurant rates 100/10 in our book!

We came here yesterday for happy hour and the Oyster Club did not disappoint! The service, food, and beverages were amazing. Definitely recommend ordering from the raw bar, the New England clam chowder and the mussels!

Exceptional experience even on a Sunday! Walk ins and got a great table by the window. We shared delicious local oysters, the kale salad with marinated apple was transformative, and the Stonington red shrimp linguine was lemony and briny with the sweet local shrimp. The only other local shrimp I’ve had were a Greek island shrimp from Simi. Wonderful to enjoy local fruits of the sea! Our server Beau was friendly and fun! We enjoyed their house made ginger seltzer for a non-alchi delight. Would go again when we are in town for a relaxing and memorable dining experience. The music playlist was poppin’ too.

Oyster Club is a gastronomic experience extravaganza in Mystic, CT. The chef is a James Beard finalist and deserves the award; the restaurant should also get a nod from Michelin if they ever come out to eastern CT! The wine list is extensive and pairs well with the fresh seafood, greens, and meat grown or caught locally. (The oysters are where it’s at, especially since it’s called Oyster Club!) We had an amazing appetizer (the chicken liver mousse) recommended to us by our server - it was divine! It was light and delectable, not at all heavy like foie gras can sometimes be. Our entrees were delicious: I highly recommend the grilled monkfish. The Stonington red shrimp in linguine were also very good. This is one of our favorite spots in Mystic; it is a great place for a special date night or celebration. We love Chef Reneé and the Oyster Club!

Delicious and amazing meal at oyster club last night! Our favorite dish was the fluke and we highly recommend it! We started off with the oysters Rockefeller, sourdough, steak tartare and the cornbread, all were absolutely delicious! We also got the rigatoni and tagliatelle and then ended with the brown butter almond cake, cheesecake mousse and the chocolate brownie ice cream. I wish I could marry the brown butter cake, it was nice and warm and practically melted in my mouth! The staff was fantastic and I love being able to see into the kitchen and watch them cook! If I could give more stars, I would! We will be back again!

They're up for Restaurant of the Year in CT for a really good reason - because the food there is amazing. It's a fairly simple farm to table spot, but you leave very happy and full after dining here. Everything we tried was outstanding. We had raw oysters, baked oysters, and Oysters Rockefeller- all were amazing. The waiter and staff were attentive and helpful and never overbearing. Felt obligated to stick to seafood since it has the name oyster in the title. but all the meat dishes that passed our table looked and smelled great. We go to Mystic once a year, this is now a mandatory stop when we go.

My favorite spot for a nice, cozy dinner in Mystic CT. The ambiance is perfect, the steak was the best I’ve ever had, and the oysters didn’t kill me!

It's one of the best places we have dined during our visit to Mystic. The menu is limited in selection but everything on there is excellent. Great presentation and the taste was adventurous. Our waitress Kelsey had great recommendations and even talked us into staying for dessert which really was worth trying even if we were so stuffed 🧸. Oh yeah the cocktails are good too.

Dining at Oyster Club is always a pleasant and memorable experience. On our last visit we started with a dozen oysters and quickly added an additional six to our order. The mignonette is perfection! We couldn’t stop there…our meal evolved into sharing several plates to invite as many of the chef’s creations to our table as possible. The half portions of fresh made pasta serve as a great appetizer, the carrots sound so simple and yet so WOW, the steak tartare is chunky and savory…I feel like I’m actually getting a full bite of deliciousness; and my personal favorite, the PEI mussels. They suggest the bread for soaking up the broth, but my go to is to just use the shell to spoon up every delightful drop. Oyster Club’s flavors, cocktails and service never disappoint. Definitely a favorite of mine and clearly would highly recommend it.

Love this place. They have an amazing menu and a top notch head chef. She really knows how to put together a well rounded menu. They have great happy hour specials of oysters and other food options as well. Happy hour cocktails and beers as well. The main building (they also have a treehouse location) is quaint and cozy giving you a fine dining experience with a at home feel. Staff is very nice and very accommodating of any food allergies.

The oysters and smoked fish brat were excellent. We were seated upstairs, lots of natural light helped to create a relaxed and refined ambiance. Service was excellent.

One of my favorite places in Mystic when I’m looking for a delightful unique dining experience. The dishes may sound familiar but the flavors and pairing is incredible!
PEI muscles with a coconut broth and the sourdough bread. Blackened Swordfish with sweet potato purée and others tasty delights. And lastly, Bourbon Pecan pie with salted caramel gelato!
