Amazing little bakery!! Best coffee I’ve had in New England. Definitely recommend the sticky buns. But would not go for the cream filled almond croissant again. Probably go for a non filled croissant instead. Must visit in Mystic!

Super cute bakery in Mystic. Adored by locals - went here on a recommendation from my co-worker while traveling. It was super cute and clean. Plus the pastry options were wide- I had the cheese and guava Danish, highly recommend. My colleagues got the over night oats, cookies, and scones. All amazing, you can't go wrong.

“Sift” in Mystic offers one of the most delectable sticky buns I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. It truly embodies the essence of a genuine French patisserie experience. If you find yourself in Mystic, make sure to stop by Sift; you won’t be disappointed!

This place is nestled on a side street near Mystic Seaport. It’s so cute inside!

You walk in and you’re greeted by so many pastries, desserts, sandwiches, and salads!

The staff run this place like a well oiled machine.

I got an oatmeal blueberry cookie and an everything croissant. The COOKIES WAS RHE BEST COOKIE I’VE PROBABLY EVER PUT IN MY MOUTH. It was soft and chewy with the blueberries coming through just enough. It wasn’t overly sweet neither. Even eating it the next day, it was still so soft. The everything croissant was the incredible. The croissant was cooked well and the seasoning was just enough that made it a breakfast dream. You can tell the dough was nicely laminated before baking. It had a great golden finish. I know if I had my favorite Belgium butter that I would have been in heaven.

Overall, I highly recommend!!!

Chefs Hor Chocolate was AMAZING! Ham Croissant was tasty as well. I really liked the Peppermint Bun. I wish I had some of those in TX where I live. Wife loved the Salmon sandwich. Our family are repeat customers and always have a great time.

Visited this place during the off season in November. Atmosphere is lively and upbeat, can get loud. Pastries are lovely, coffee is yummy. Parking is rough - but is downtown Mystic, not the establishments fault.

Well worth the long line if you encounter one! It goes by very quickly! The key lime cheesecake torte is delicious, chai latte is always hot & remember to take some of their delicious macaroons home with you

We visited from NYC. This place is like nothing we have in New York. From how the employees dress, to the ordering, it’s absolutely an experience. We went on a Monday, at 9:45 and again at 1:15. Both times we were out within 5 minutes! The croissants are to die for, and the coffee is good too. I recommend getting a iced coffee with birthday cake syrup. It’s quite the interesting flavor if you like a sweet taste

Wow. Yum. Amazing. Fresh. I am currently eating one their brownies. The BEST one I’ve ever had. Also enjoyed the huge cream filled almond croissant last night. Calories mean nothing to me right now.

Next time we are in town, I will definitely be back to try more

I was a bit skeptical at first due to the long line outside. It took us about 25 minutes to place our order at the counter for breakfast It turns out that this was about the same wait time as other sit down breakfast spots in the area too. Let me tell you, it was worth it! Everything from the scones to the croissants to the avocado toast were perfection! You can tell everything is made with love and precision!

Surprisingly, this place was amazing. The drinks were sooo good. The latte was so smooth, and you can feel the chai in your soul. The chocolate raspberry croissant was good, tasty. The cheddar and chive scones were actually FANTASTIC! We even thought about warming them up. My husband ate the strawberry and rhubarb danish, and he said it tasted amazing! The macaroons were really good, especially the raspberry. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. And the environment was clean and aesthetically pleasing. I would come here again and again, you should too! 🫶🏼

Very delicious pastries and coffee. We arrived at 930 am on a Saturday and there was a line out the door. We waited about 15 minutes before we could order at the counter. None of the pastries or cookie tasted overly sweet and artificial. The chocolate and pumpkin pie croissants were flaky and buttery and the blueberry oatmeal cookie was very gooey and delicious. We even came back later in the day for a hot chocolate made with real dark chocolate. Worth the hype!

Lovely spot in Mystic to sit outside and take a bite. Tried their famous pecan pie and it was definitely delicious. Too sweet for me and it’s a huge one. They also had tempting macarons. The sales person was lovely and transparent about the items.

This place is amazing. Excellent customer service. Honestly the best scones and pasties I can ever remember eating. We had the Lemon scone/ Blueberry scone/ Raisin Bun/ Chocolate croissant. Everyone of them was amazing. Great coffee too.

We visited Sift Bake Shop from foodie friend’s recommendation. It was crowded all the time since it’s so popular.

Their size of pastry is super huge
but we couldn’t buy too much since we were on our trip. We wanted to but couldn’t buy their signature Almond Whipped Cream Croissant since it should be eaten in a short period of time.

We got their Pecon Sticky Bun as our breakfast and it was delicious. The texture was fluffy and delicate with satisfying frosting.

Magical find in the quaint, seaside Mystic. While we were eating our way through the town, we happened upon Sift.

We noticed a long line out the door in the morning, and decided to wait…for a spell.

After a few short minutes of waiting, we found ourselves enchanted with the charm of the bake shop before us.

Incredible service, who you are paired with at the beginning, a true tour through the whole assortment of offerings - coffee to pastries to sandwiches to cakes to a FULL on rainbow of macaroons. Quite a unique serving experience which added to the personalized coastal charm of the bake shop.

This bake shop rivals the best of any European bake shop that I have ever visited. Delicate. Magical. Must see.

Took a trip there didn't get a chance to try the pastries yet but the hot chocolate is a must have. If the hot chocolate is this good I'm sure the pastries will be just as good

It’s rare that I find an establishment like Sift the most amazing bakery I have ever been to. The “Willy Wonka” of bakery!!!

So many well thought and extremely well balanced dishes.

The staff was extremely helpful & well trained.

My only complaint… I would have to search a lifetime trying to find a similar comparison.

First came here a couple of years ago. Now came back again I was so glad to see it still kept its original high quality of food and its beautiful and cozy vibe. The cake and macarons were so delicious. Although the line was long, the staff were very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

Now THIS is a bakery! From the moment I stepped inside, I knew the food would be A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I immediately felt like I was inside a Parisian cafe; the croissants, the sweets, the vibes, the fast-paced environment. Sign me up! This place is so dreamy. They had so many types of croissants, and I ended up having the honey peach (I think it was peach?) one after having the most difficult time deciding what to eat, and it was probably one of the best croissants I have ever tried. The outdoor tables during the Spring were lovely. I already want to go back to try their whole menu! If I lived in the area, I would be at this bakery 24/7.
