I’m a sucker for independent coffee shops, and this one did not disappoint. The latte, smoothie and sesame bagel we ordered were all very good (and the smoothie made with all fresh ingredients), and the ambiance was so welcoming. Our barista was friendly and helpful. We’ll be back!

We stopped by this coffee shop during our trip to Mystic and we were not disappointed. I got a latte and it was very good. We both got bagels and were surprised how much we enjoy them. Being from NJ I have high standards for bagels and they did not disappoint. The pricing is reasonable. They have a large seating area so we ate in the cafe.

We were in the area and, We went to Macondo the other day. Lady Angela was working. Greeted us right away. With a nice smile. We ordered a cappuccino and a chocolate crossiant. Both were excellent. Best coffee shop around. Worth the trip there. We will go there again. Wonderful place to go.

If you are looking for coffee that actually tastes like coffee, this is the spot to come to. Never burnt tasting and infinitely better than the super processed corporate coffee you find at most coffee chains.

One time a few weeks ago I was having a really, really bad morning and decided to go get a coffee to help turn things around. I grabbed my oat milk latte and as I was walking through the parking lot, I tripped and spilled my full, brand new, delicious latte everywhere. Full casualty. I walked back into Macondo with tears in my eyes and told them I would like to order another latte. I had my card out to pay when the very, very kind barista told me absolutely not- he would make it again no cost. It was everything to me in that moment. THANK YOU! ❤

Very nice local coffee shop. Coffee was great and the sesame bagel was really good. Ordered with cream cheese and they did not skimp on the cream cheese. There was was a great amount.

This place is OFF THE HOOK it is so good. They are not kidding when they say the coffee is farm fresh. And the ambiance is great. And the staff are so nice and talented.

So rare to find espresso done so right. Tart almost sweet roast, a perfect pull placed in a cup with some heft and a smooth handle. Amazing!

I have frequented Macondo for almost a year now as my go to local coffee business. Their coffee is always fresh and consistently delicious. I've had positive interactions with all of the staff and good espresso drinks consistently. You can purchase small baked goods, such as croissants and scones. Bags of coffee are also available for sale. They offer smoothies that are super tasty and well thought out as well as fresh juices. Cold brew is a bonus for warmer weather. too. Stop in if you're near.

Wonderful place to stop and get an espresso beverage and a bagel in the morning. Flavor is always balanced and smooth, they are good at balancing the sweetness of flavor syrups without overpowering the espresso. I usually just grab and go, but they have a wonderful large area to sit down and hang out inside and outdoor seating is available for when it's nice outside. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. I love when I find myself out in Stonington so I have a chance to stop in.

Great coffee shop with exquisite pastry. Clean and welcoming inside. I was not familiar with with the brand of coffee but it’s very robust. I had a simple everything bagel 🥯 w cream cheese and such care was taken from start to finish. Fresh cut and toasted w plenty of cream cheese. It is owner operated which means you get great service and quality food and drink EVERY time. This will be my new stop for morning coffee, a little out of the way but worth it. Thanks to the owners for making my morning and my day.

Visiting my mom and one of the neighbors told me about this place. Nice little shop with baked muffins, bagels and a fine selection of morning beverages. Staff was helpful, I don't know if their summer hours are better, one the rest of our clan is around during the summer we like to be up and at em by 6 a.m.

Love that there’s dairy free options for their drinks! Everything is always fresh and the staff is so nice.

Best coffee in Mystic/Stonington area. Great roaster featured for coffee beans. Great coffee/espresso equipment and excellent barista. Worth the 5-7 min drive from Mystic.

Truly a great cup of coffee maade with fresh roasted beans and it was just perfect. The bagels were crunchy outside and soft a smooth inside.
The staff was great and very helpful and polite. A clean place with a nice indoor area for indoor eating. A large parking area. A fantastic place to stop and just relax. Not to be missed.
