Best underground CASH ONLY Bar in the downtown Iowa City area. Best pours. Awesome bartenders. It's a home a way from home so long as it's not Friday or Saturday during football season.......unless your into that PARTY! Play 311 some 311 now and then. Good Vibes.

Good classic Irish pub feel. Enjoyed a many car bombs.

I enjoyed my time in this establishment very much, the drinks were delivered on time and in an orderly fashion, the bartender Katherin knows how to make a Guinness draught have a 3 leaf clover in the foam, and the general atmosphere is amazing! There are never too many people here, and they deserve to have more.

Hard to describe. A great choice if you are a savy college kid and your parents are visiting. They will get the vibe and verve of the college scene, have a great time and would have fun even if they didn't have to pick up the tab for their kids friends. Cozy and cool.

Bar none, the best Irish bar in Iowa City and probably in eastern Iowa. They keep their walk in warmer than most so their Guinness is slightly warm. Just like it was meant to be. Also the best shots and mixed drinks in town. They don't run specials because their drinks are already the best bang for the buck. Tip the bartenders well. They kick ads and play badass jams.

This is a great little pub with an amazing staff behind the bar. On weeknights it's a great venue to take out of town guests for a correctly poured Guiness. On the weekends, it's a great place to meet up with friends.

Loved this place! People were friendly and great conversation! Not one to go out often but this is one place my husband and I would frequent if we lived in the area! Had that "cheers" feel to it!

LOVED this place, stoped in to warm up a little bit and me and my wife ended up staying all night. The tenders were amazing. Family friendly enviroment. Would love to go back

There are a lot of pubs that claim to an Irish Pub bot are not the real McCoy. The Dublin Underground is the real thing. Owned and operated by a 100% Irishman. You can't go wrong with a perfectly built pint or some fine Irish whiskey.

This is a cute little gem hidden away! Brings back the old neighborhood bar vibe. Very clean and perfect lighting, I wish I had more time to spend the there.

This is my favorite bar in Iowa city. Hands down. Homey and comfy. Great drinks. I recomend a whiskey ginger made with hellcat Maggie

Was down stairs. Crowded & busy. Celebrated the Irish New Year at 6 P. M.!

Just a bar. A fine bar. A bar to return to. In the early afternoon, not noisy and not raucous. Have a drink and chat with the bartender. Buy a drink for the other patrons. This is pub heaven.
