Press Coffee

This is a great little coffee shop. I had a Turkish blend dark roast with a shot of espresso and it was fantastic. Also one of the cleanest public bathrooms in a coffee shop I have ever experienced. I would definitely poop here if I had to.

According to signage and the surroundings, they're very bicycle and dog friendly as well.

You need to stop by and try the coffee here it's different real coffee coffee ☕ I love this place!!! This cafe has plenty of seating, great natural lighting and wonderful espresso and variety of flavor teas!! It's 40mints away from me but whenever I get chance I never miss!! Highly recommended best customer service every time!!

Have been wanting to try this place since they opened. Was happy b to see the wide variety of tea available and coffee beans to buy. It was a little confusing trying to figure out where to order and the area for cream and sugar very small and not in the best location for how busy they were. We did like the coffee we had and would go back for one of the many events they have posted, but for a quick coffee or tea, we would go somewhere else.

We had a great experience at Press in Iowa City! There are two levels which is perfect for chatting with bigger groups up top, and more studying and quiet space downstairs. I got the butter pecan latte and it was delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and comforting.

This place is the best! Coffee and pastries are excellent. The atmosphere of very welcoming and great to meet up with a friend or to get work done. Lots of seating and charging stations everywhere.

We stopped for a quick coffee and smoothie on our road trip to Boulder. Coffee and smoothies were great. I love the set up and ambiance. They did a great job of dividing the areas for private intimate conversations and also more social open space. Great for kids, teens and everyone. Great place to have Iowa! To top it all off wonderful, sweet baristas!

I love this place! A sat in a comfy chair in a little cove for about an hour while I enjoyed my delicious latte. I did my video game chores on my phone and read some of the hilarious cross-stitch art on the wall (for sale)

Fantastic iced lattes, and a wonderful atmosphere. The vibe in this cafe was great! It is a beautiful house decorated with various art and decorative pieces. The coffee is a little on the expensive side but that is to be expected. There is free wifi and an ample range of seating options.

The chai latte in particular was great, especially on a crazy humid day. Highly recommend!

Loved the atmosphere of this coffee shop! The café is super cute and clean. They have a lot of neat merchandise to look at while waiting for your order. After just learning about this local legend, I was surprised and excited to see the 'Black Angel' featured on some of their travel tumblers, coffee mugs and coffee bags! I regret not buying the 'Black Angel' travel tumbler but I guess that just gives me an excuse to come back for a visit!

We were heading out of town on a road trip, and passed by Press Coffee. I'd seen their tempting social media posts, but had never visited. We decided to turn the car around check it out. It was definitely worth it. I love visiting locally owned coffee shops. Each one is different, and Press is a good example of a destination coffee shop. There are two different outdoor patios, a drive-through window, and plenty of seating inside on the main level, as well as upstairs. They have very cozy, artistic, and welcoming spaces. I make a lot of coffee at home using locally roasted beans, sometimes roasted the same day or within a few days, then fresh ground just prior to making espresso. So, I've become accustomed to really fresh rich coffee. I ordered a latte at Press Coffee, and normally I would sweeten a latte, but they make such a smooth delicious latte that I didn't feel a need to sweeten it. I was really impressed. Thanks Press for creating a great coffee shop experience for Iowa City!

Such a wonderful coffee shop! I highly recommend going Friday-Sunday when they also have donuts. Service is always great and coffee comes out quick. They have unique seasonal drinks too that I definitely recommend looking at! Good outdoor seating in the summer with plenty of tables.

Love this coffee brand. Driving along I-80, if you’re seeking quality coffees, stop here. Only a mile off the interstate. Main drawback is parking… limited spots. Staff - Midwest friendly!

Possibly some of the best coffee in the Iowa City/Coralville area. My family regularly goes out of its way to come here. While the drive through leaves something to be desired (especially for larger or smaller vehicles) the ambiance inside is wonderful, the staff are attentive and quick and it is well maintained.

I had a quick meeting with a customer. The place was packed (both upstairs and downstairs) but we found a little room. My iced americano was amazing. They are stocked better than most mom and pop coffee shops! I definitely recommend. They also have a really convenient drive through!

The BEST oat milk sugar cookie latte! Service is quick, the baristas are nice, prices are low and the coffee is good!

This place is so quirky, cozy, and cute! It's a great spot for good coffee, delicious baked goods, and to chill with friends or get some work done. 10/10 staff and atmosphere! The staff was kind and quick with our order. Will definitely be going back again and again!

Cozy coffee house in Coralville. Had little nooks to get things done and menu is sufficient. The best part was the staff. Super friendly and great attention to detail with my drink. Highly recommend and gets a two thumbs up from me. Cheers!

I love the idea that the coffee shop revolves around the French press brewing method! The staff were friendly, the place was cozy, and the coffee was well-prepared and tasty. Highly recommend.

I was a barista for years, and WOW, this coffeeshop does not disappoint! The drive thru is a bit tight but the coffee and croissant I got were so worth it. Pricing is great, too. I will definitely be back!
