Hy-Vee Grocery Store

This is a smaller store, but they've always had what I needed. The produce is excellent! And I love the prepackaged meals they make near the deli! Easy to take home and reheat.

Very good selections and varieties! I do love the specialized foods sections, making it easier to identify alternative foods/diets. Friendly and courteous employees throughout the store.

Wow has this store changed since I worked here in 2003-2006!!! Looks like a vast improvement!!! I can't wait to pop in sometime soon when in town!!

However, the evening workers could use a few lessons........

Largest and best stocked grocery store in Coralville or North Liberty. Excellent meats, produce, and groceries. In-house fast food bar and restaurant. Biggest wine, beer and spirits department in the area. Ample parking. Gas station, convenience store and bottle return in a separate building across the street.

I love Hy-Vee. They have such wonderful produce and also tons of various foodstuffs and household items. The service is also always great. The hot food they serve is also very good and affordable

Nice to have a Hy-Vee in this location. It's not as big as the Coralville location, but very nice.

Everyone is so nice! The employees are really helpful and the customers are full of smiles. Oh did I mention they have food?!? So much variety! Five years I've been shopping there and I still get a little giddy at the sight of all that wonderful food!

This is truly one of the best grocery stores in the country. There is an abundance of friendly staff, fresh produce, and a hearty midwestern feel. This grocery store has it all. Free samples, a bar, restaurant, and even a gas at across the way. I’ve been to numerous grocery stores around the country this ranks as the top one. They are located in college town and can offer good wages and therefore always have staff. If you are just passing through on I-80 this is a great place for fresh, fast-food at the deli. In all this is a great grocery store.

This review is for the Bakery and Floral Departments.

We got married really close to the North Dodge Hy-vee and chose them to make our wedding cake and provide our floral. We are so glad we did!

Micheala at the bakery was great to work with and gave us exactly what we asked for with our cake. It was delicious and looked beautiful!

Danny at the floral department was extremely helpful and worked with me so much on picking out the perfect flowers and even changing a couple things as we went. All of our floral turned out beautiful and we couldn’t have been happier!

The staff is always helpful & the store operations are very efficient. Prices for meat, poultry, & dairy are a bit high, but that's due to Biden's energy policies. #Bidenflation

They take such good care of their customers. I have been using the curbside delivery for this past 2 years, almost every week. I can definitely say that the process has gotten smoother and smoother, they really are my personal shoppers. I'll go back in soon but really have appreciated everyone's help along the way through this! Even added in flowers and bakery when requested. Always polite, courteous, and seem to enjoy what they do for the most part.

Starbucks in the store is the best! Sip on some yummy white chocolate mocha as you shop. Great produce and large gluten free section!

This is a huge grocery store and very good-- not to be confused with the other hyvee nearby that's more of a drugstore-- the locals still refer to that one as Drug Town but if you're not from here you might get confused

Standard Hyvee. Good quality stuff, always reliable

3/4/23 Update: HyVee still has genuinely nice people. Store brand coffee is still 11 oz.
6/7/22 Update: HyVee is still a good grocer. the salmon tasted and smelled fresh.
Though the store-brand coffee is sold in 11 oz bags next to 12 oz 'premium brand' bags. I don't think it's cool to thumb-the-scale.

Folks working there are super nice and helpful, and during this stressful grocery shopping time - Christmas and COVID-19. The store had a beautiful roast, though only two turkeys, both large and frozen.

Clean friendly staff and store

We had been away from home over the winter so needed a lot of groceries. We found everything that we needed and most were on sale for really good prices.
