Rosati's Pizza

We were so happy to hear Rosati’s had re-opened after months of waiting, and our usual ‘18” Rosati’s Monster’ Pizza we used to get is still fantastically made correctly!
We do take a few toppings off and added extra cheese, double dough (in comments) and hot giardiniera. We ordered at 12:22PM and while it stated a half hour for pick up on the online order, we walked in around 1:13PM and it was just being boxed up, which was no issue. Quality of ingredients were fantastic. We appreciate a pizza more ‘well done’ baked over normal, which this was.

Many thanks to the cook in the kitchen today who made this, it was everything we were hoping for today! Hands down, we will be back.

First time here. Carry-out, delivery and catering. Large delivery area for Ankeny and surrounding area. Reminds me of how Chuck's pizza in Des Moines USED to taste like. Generous size pizza and salad. Onion rings a bit on the greasy side. Overall worth a second try.

This is our third trip here. Fabulous thin crust!! Lots of cheese and toppings,all around delicious 😋.

I have never had Chicago Deep Dish before. If this is typical of what to expect, then I now understand the obsession. I ordered a medium for one, thinking half tonight, half tomorrow. I ate one piece and that was almost too much.
I ordered tomato, onion and black olives. Amount of toppings was good. Then a layer of cheese. Then, I believe, four more layers of cheese. On top of it all this amazing, robust, thick tomato puree with chunks of juicy tomatoes.
It was not all crust. It was a true deep dish. Cooked perfect. The edge of the crust was not hard and crunchy, difficult to eat. It was the perfect thickness and chewiness with some kind of magical spices that made even the plain crust enjoyable.
When I picked it up, about 2 minutes early, it was hot and fresh, and I would have eaten a piece on the way home, but I didnt have a knife and fork. And trust me, you most likely will need both.
I am a solid fan now, and pretty darn tickled that I don't have to drive all the way to Chicago for this little piece of heaven.

We've grabbed the frozen ready to go pizzas a couple times and they were delicious! Ordered a cooked pizza and it was delicious as well! Sauce is great! So much cheese! Will return!

The chicken delight and the margarita pizza are some of our favorites! And the dough nuggets are sooo good! I usually do not like marinara with bread sticks but Rosatis marinara is super fresh! Five stars everytime! Friendly service too!

We ordered a 16” all meat thin crust pizza and the garlic cheese bread. We ordered delivery and it showed up within 45 minutes and was hot and fresh! The food was delicious! The pizza had the perfect amount of meat, cheese, and sauce on it. The garlic cheese bread was very cheesy and garlicky. The only downside, is we wish the cheese bread had come with some marinara sauce for dipping. It could have been an extra add-on and we might have just missed it. The large pizza and 2 orders of cheese bread was enough to feed 5 adults. I would definitely recommend Rosati’s!

The Chicago Style Deep Dish pizza I ordered was delicious. It was absolutely what I like in a deep dish pizza. The crust and the toppings were amazing. I plan to order another one soon.

Rosati's is definitely one of our top places for pizza and we visit frequently. Just visit we had the Chicago deep dish style pizza and it was to die for. They use quality ingredients and their pizzas have a perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings. The person I spoke with on the phone was also very courteous and professional.

Pizza was good. Breadsticks are awesome. Nothing was better than the customer service! The person up front was very positive, personable, helpful, and has an awesome sense of humor. The entire staff seemed to work very well together. We will be back!

We ordered multiple pizzas, during a busy time, on a busy night. We were quoted a 90-120 minute turnaround. Pizza got to us in just a little less than an hour l and it was hot, fresh, and delicious. Only thing of disappointment was the tiramisu. It was frozen and didn't have much coffee flavor. Overall a great experience!!

Awesome! We chose thin crust for both pizzas. The crust was like a saltine cracker. Extremely good! The Caesar salad was fresh and you could taste the homemade dressing. The cinnamon sticks for desert were to die for. We ordered the #3 family meal. Worth every penny.

Our pizzas were excellent and the breadsticks were yummy! We were greeted as we walked in the door and immediately were attended to. Our order was ready and we were quickly on our way home to enjoy a delicious dinner. Will definitely order from Rosati’s in the future!

Amazing Chicago style deep dish pie with fresh cheese and chunky marinara sauce had serious heft, even though the crust was more like a doughy Detroit style than the flaky pastry style in authentic Chicago pizzas. The fried mushrooms and cheese sticks had perfectly seasoned crispy crusts. Staff was friendly and polite. 👍👍

I ordered Italian Beef for my daughter’s graduation party and it was amazing! My family is from the Chicago area so we’ve had their pizza and Italian Beef many times before. I placed the order a couple weeks before the party and the person on the phone that helped me was very nice, polite and accommodating. The food was packaged very nicely so it would stay fresh and hot for the party. I would definitely recommend Rosatis!!!

Always delicious hot pizza & lasagna! Chicago Deep dish pizza is sooo good, like the original Pizzeria Uno in Chicago. Also love the thin crust monster! The meatballs are amazing. The red sauce is sooo good! The chef is excellent! Even the salad is always crisp fresh romaine. This is an excellent Italian restaurant

We liked the location of pick up, service and the pizza.
It is in an easy accessible strip mall. The pizza was ready when they told us it would be. The standard crust was good, and the cheese had such a delicious flavor! Will order again.

Moved back to Ankeny after 20 years away, and slowly trying the new restaurants since I last lived here. Well, I’ve found a new favorite pizza place! Tried a thin crust and a deep dish, and both were absolutely amazing. So so good. They definitely gained a new customer!

The pizza here is always great! I love their Deep Dish! Last night we got the double dough and it was amazing. My wife and daughter were also enthralled. We also got breadsticks which my daughter said are the best she has ever had. In Des Moines there is no pizza better.
