Crème

This is literally the nicest establishment I’ve ever dealt with. I spoke with Taylor, who I believe is the manager. She was extremely nice. Everyone at Crème was so responsive, professional and did the cake exactly like the inspo picture I showed them. I wish I would have taken more pictures of the cake cause it was gorgeous. I will definitely be ordering from them again!!

It’s Easter Week, why not celebrate the resurrection with good treats. This place does not sale pies, but they have a host of creatively tasty cupcakes and cookies $3 and up, very reasonable locally owned establishment. Parking is street only, but well worth the hunt. They even have vegan cupcakes—yum!

Cake was an important part to our wedding day and Creme did not disappoint! The tasting experience was a great way to decide what flavors we wanted. It was all so good we couldn't narrow it down, so we had 4 different flavors of sheet cake and 2 of those flavors on our tiered cake. We got so many compliments on the cake and multiple flavors to choose from! We definitely ordered too much, but we were able to share some cake with family, friends and coworkers after the wedding. We loved the cake so much we plan to get a mini one to celebrate our one year anniversary since we didn't freeze the top layer.

Cute, little shop! I come here for little dessert dates and enjoy trying all the things! The cupcakes and giant Oreos are good but my ultimate favorite things from Crème are the mochi doughnuts and special milk bun releases! I've had one or two things that were too sweet for me, such as the cheesecake. But, overall, they do a great job of not killing you with sugar. I don't have much of a sweet tooth so it's fun for me to come here, get one of everything, take one bite, and let my friends kill the rest. It's how we bond ☺ Would love to come try Midnight Munchies at some point!

Sammy was one of the very few bakeries in the Des Moines area that agreed to bake a cake for me using organic flour. Sammy did mini cakes for my engagement party and they were stunning! They were so moist! My entire family was obsessed with them. She will also be doing my wedding cake! I can’t wait!! They were also decently priced!!

My wife and I stopped into Crème tonight while on a date night. We wanted to try something new and fun. We were pleased with the experience!

We were welcomed with a smile as soon as we entered the establishment. There isn't a lot of seating, but it was appropriate for our Saturday evening visit.

The menu is smaller, but every item we tried was bursting with flavor and mouthwatering to the last bite! I would recommend you give several items a try.

We will be back!

Sammy is wonderful! They did our wedding cake and it was absolutely beautiful and rustic! They take your ideas and make them next level. And the cake was delicious. Highly recommend. They are professional, timely & we couldn’t be happier to have found them

The owner's husband was fun and awesome to laugh with. We had a great time at their event, Easter cookies and COCKtails with Cha Cha's Confectionery. Holiday cookie decorating was taken to a whole different level of fun! I recommend this for a girl's night out. This was for a great cause, The Young Women's Resource Center.

My wife and I just learned about Crème’s midnight munchies and we highly recommend! During the Ingersoll Live event, we were informed by some friends that Crème had new ownership and was open late on Fridays and Saturdays. After the Live event, we decided to drop in to taste their midnight munchies. I had some spicy ramen and an old fashioned. With the spicy ramen, I also ordered a hard boiled egg and kimchi. The ramen was totally worth the stop and we highly recommend!

I was planning a bridal shower for a dear friend's daughter from afar, and wanted to have a beautiful dessert table similar to what I had seen on Pinterest. I fell in love with tea cakes that were multi shades of pink with fresh flowers on top. No one in Des Moines would make these except Creme. Sammy the owner not only created them exactly like the image I sent Creme, but they were DELICIOUS! Everyone raved about these and also the french macarons that I ordered from Creme as well. The entire staff was so helpful in every way and delivered down to the last detail what I wanted. I HIGHLY recommend them for their excellent baked goods...one of the very best in Des Moines!

My review is only regarding Midnight Munchies-- I've been several times with friends and it never disappoints. Drinks are good and I can never pick just 1 cupcake flavor as there so many wonderful ones to choose from. Service is always wonderful but the vibe is amazing!!!!!

Don’t walk, run to this sweet spot. The cupcakes were to die for. We got raspberry and lychee and Vietnamese coffee flavors cupcakes 🧁 they were delectable 😋😋😋

I was drawn to Creme in January when they announced their Midnight Munchies feature where they doctor up some cup noodles on Fri and Sat evenings to have with some cakes.
It was absolutely dope with the cup noodle always hitting the spot and tasting like the best thing ever from their additions. Also was shocked to discover they make off the hook cocktails. We switched from Wasabi to Creme becoming our weekly date night spot because the value is phenomenal and service/vibe is the best in Des Moines. The staff are all super genuine and cool and have made an effort to get to know me and my squad. They even stock the bathroom with feminine supplies and floss. Like where else does that?
I love this place, I’ve been dreading making this review because I do have anxiety about it becoming too busy and not being able to get my weekly seat or the cinnamon rolls being sold out - but they deserve all the business in the world so I’m risking it.

1000/10! Wanted a special birthday cake for my sister-in-law’s 25th birthday, and boy did Crème deliver. From decor to flavor, this cake was perfect and superseded my expectations. My sister in law loved her cake! Thank you again Sammy for an amazing birthday cake!!

Our cakes were STUNNING! I got my beautiful tiered cake with a modern twist, and my husband got his sentimental groom's cake fit for any true college basketball fan. The cake was delicious and Whitney and her team are a dream to work with. Thank you!

I popped in late in the afternoon hoping to grab a dozen cupcakes, and when I got here realized I should have come earlier- the cupcakes are delicious and the secret is out- so they were almost out of cupcakes for the day. The amazing lady working said that if I could wait for a few minutes she could go pull from tomorrow’s cupcakes, and she went to the back and put together an incredible assorted dozen for me. I am so, so appreciative and was blown away by the customer service.

Got cheesecake there and it was so good and the staff was super friendly! I will definitely be back!

Many many wonderful cupcakes, desserts (flourless chocolate cake is TO DIE for), and cakes from Creme. Had one issue with a cake & online ordering and the staff went above and beyond to make it right. Don't miss this bakery, they will make your day and event! ✨🧁🎂✨

I am mad I didn't take pictures of the cupcakes! I ordered 2 dozen raspberry champagne, GF carrot, and GF red velvet cupcakes in honor of my employee getting married during a team meeting. The feedback I received was that these were some of the most moist and best tasting cupcakes they had ever had. Even those who do not have a gluten-free diet said the GF cakes were some of the best cakes in general they have had.

Also, I came in from out of state and they were so gracious to let me pickup my order even when they were closed. Amazing service withal recommendations on what to gets well. I may not be back in Des Moines anytime soon but I highly recommend this place 👌🏾.

Quality cakes funky atmosphere friendly staff. Limited cozy seating. I've been told it's a date destination. Also good for treating yourself.
