Copper Creek 9

I do love this theater I've gone now for years. Im just confused because online it says they are closed. When i tried calling to ask if they were open, the call doesn't offer you a chance to speak with someone. So now I'm not sure what to do lol. Would I need to drive to check? Does anyone know of another way i could figure this out?

Good ticket prices, fresh popcorn, cold drinks, great snack selection, good seating, great sound, and a great staff. Was an enjoyable visit.

Nice comfortable seats, great ticket, and concession stand prices. Friendly staff! I was impressed by how clean it was! I still don't like picking my seat when I pay and before I even get inside, I prefer to choose my seat after I walk in the theater. Oh well..!

Stop is nice and professional. The place is clean and smells good. A popcorn is wonderful. The only downside is that the reward system has been down for over a month and nobody seems to tell me anything on when I could start getting my rewards. People just say save the tickets and you can get your rewards put on your account the next time you come in but then the next time I come in at it is still down.

Very nice people, big screens and great sound system. And comfortable chairs.

My favorite clean movie theatre to go to. The staff is very polite and helpful.

Compared to other movie theatres, I was somewhat impressed. The seats were very comfortable. The screen size was excellent, and the employees were very nice to interact with. I would highly recommend Cropper Creek!

I had gone here years ago and was happy. This upgrade is great! There is more to the concession stand and the chairs are soft and comfy

Just watched Fast X. Bought tickets online, got snacks there. I think having a barcode or QR code to scan for online pre-purchased tickets would be easier - they had to swipe the card used to buy the online tickets which didn't make sense to me. Other than that, seats are comfortable, popcorn was salty and buttery, and we were the only ones in the theater!

I love this theater. I have a friend from Ankeny who only likes this theater and says it’s the best popcorn ever. I agree. Staff very professional and prices are the best for concessions.

Clean lobby, bathrooms, and theatres. Comfortable seats; excellent video and sound quality. Good parking.

Nice little theater. Less expensive than the new Altoona theater, and they have a lid that doubles as a bowl for the popcorn which makes it easy to share.

Best little local theater I been to in a while great atmosphere, friendly staff, comfortable seats very nice would definitely recommend.

I'm giving this a 5 star because the performance of the staff, security and quality of the movie theater. Staff sticks to the rules and is generally nice, staff us mostly made up of teens probably ages 16+. "Security" the person making sure you get the seat you want and good at keeping track of where you sit. Quality, great seats good sound projection and normal dimming lights all theaters have. I recommend this theater although being slightly more pricey than AMC it's worth the quality for the cost.

I love the Copper Creek theater. So much so that I don't want to leave an overly positive review strictly because I don't want it to become as crowded as all my other local theaters. But that's not fair cause it's great. It's always very clean, smells nice, is cheaper for both tickets and snacks, and has a very friendly staff. I believe there are 8 screens in total. 1 bigger one and the rest are average size. Seating is very comfortable despite not having recliners like their surrounding competitors. I always check Copper Creek first for new movies. The only reason I go anywhere else is because I live literally across town. The 30 min drive is always worth it. They also give you free refills on larges. Dunno why other theaters stopped doing that.

Best theater in the Des Moines area. Not a lot of frills but it has comfy seats and the cheapest concession prices of any theater in the area. Staff is always very fast and professional. A Bargain Tuesday movie at Copper Creek for $5.50 is hard to beat.

This is the best theatre in town In my opinion. Don't bother going anywhere else. They have the best prices of any place around, and they have the cleanest and best facility of any place I have been to. Their big screen is awesome. Plus it has Atmos sound. I love this place. Tuesday is deal day for all tickets, and you get a free small popcorn when you buy a drink. They get all of the best movies. They have meals. They are great as well. I have had the nachos and the hot dog. I recommend you try them both! Their popcorn is amazing. Super friendly and knowledgeable.

The theater has always had great prices for films and concessions. It has been completely updated yet their curtains over the screens still give it that classic theater feel. Extremely clean lobby, theaters and the restrooms were spotless. Recently started selling alcohol if you are someone who enjoys a beer or glass of wine with your movie.

Staff were fast and friendly as always.

Customer service is always great, because the employees are happy and friendly. The new seats are very comfortable and allow for more leg room. Popcorn is always fresh. The ATMOS theatre sounds amazing. This theatre is always clean, especially the bathrooms. On Tuesdays, they offer a deal with matinee pricing and free popcorn with drink purchase, which is perfect for families.

For those times when it's the theatre or bust, you have to check this place out. A clean, friendly environment with great picture quality and that familiar cineplex vibe. Highly recommend.
