Hy-Vee Grocery Store

so I just left hyvee on Euclid I went to get cough drops, face masks, and some drinks. When I got to self checkout I rang up my stuff and I was unfortunately about 3 dollars short so I asked the kind lady at self check out if she could take off one of the pops as I really needed the medication. She proceeded to ask me how much I was short and I told her and she so kind heartedly offered to pay the difference. She made my entire week. I wanted to talk to a manager and let them know about their amazing and kind employee but unfortunately did not see one as I left the store so I wanted to write a review. I hope that kind hearted women and her managers see this. Thank you

Even though it's ridiculously busy some times, expensive (like everywhere else) and even though their staff at the self check out harasses everyone I know, I still love this place!! Easy, convenient and staff is usually pretty decent.

The old jingle.. where there's a helpful smile in every aisle ...does really ring true for this store!!!! The size of this store is amazing compared to the little store where I'm at.

The Deli was fab. the little woman closing the Deli need big props for customer service. She was great! And very patient with Me and my bad communication skills some days are very hard to deal with. Thank you

A great grocery store for your grocery shopping needs. This venerable location has been a fixture in this community for ages, and the remodel has been a delight. The prices are decent, the location is good, the service is friendly, and the store is quite clean. Whenever I'm in Des Moines, this is my grocery store.

I use their can redemption quite often and I always usually end up showing up around 6 or 6:30pm, so I don't give myself much time to actually get my cans all put through the machines. But the guys working are always very kind and let me finish out what I'm doing, because I'm only returning the cans for gas money, so their kindness for letting me finish what I was doing helps a lot..

Great store, well stocked got Starbucks in the store and great customer service

HyVee stands to their helpful smile on every isle slogan. I love being a Membership customer, today I forgot my card, the cashier quickly said no problem, ask me for my phone number. I didn't know that all I had to do was give my number to get my reward. Thank you HyVee excellent service.

Most the time has great stock, but did the cereal deal (because my son is obsessed with cereal) and nearly filled my trunk. Do a lot of drive up as well, and they are always nice and load my trunk. Shop here frequently!

I typically order for pickup and they might not have everything I order but I get great communication and options for substitutions.

I've been coming to this Hy-Vee for years and it always feels very friendly coming in, the people that work. They're obviously want to be there and are treated fairly, but the real star of the show was a cashier that you guys had up front, I wish I would have caught their name, however I believe they may have been deaf. Deaf. They helped check out my items and communicated with me in a way that was not only humorous, but also very easy to understand. Props to them for making me smile and laugh before leaving the store.

Widen the parking lot and take the clutter out of the middle entrance. Good staff, nice variety of products. Fruit and veggie sections need love..Tried of seeing fruit flies by the bus load or bad produce.

Went there for there sale meat, and groceries. Nice clean store..
