Great place for mechanic work, maintenance, and body work. The mechanics are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and honest. And lastly (and for me best/important thing), is they are extremely affordable compared to what other mechanic shops charge.

We bought a vehicle at Lake Manawa Auto Center between Christmas and New Year's Day. I have no complaints about the vehicle or the price we paid. We were told that when our check cleared, the dealership would put the title in the mail. Our check cleared a couple of days after we bought the vehicle, but the title took almost three weeks to arrive (after our temporary plates were expired).

While we were waiting for the title, we made contact with the dealership several times. The first time we called the dealership, we were told the administrative assistant was ill with the flu, and when she got back to the office, she would mail the title. That's understandable. After she was back in the office, I called to see if she had mailed it and was assured that our title was in the mail. After not receiving it for another week, I called and was told that it must be the Post Office's fault because I live in a small town. I waited a few more days and was told the same thing. However, when I asked why it took so long to get my title, I finally found out that Lake Manawa Auto Center waited for our check to clear before paying off the dealership's loan on the vehicle so that they could get a clear title. We finally received our title, and interestingly enough, it was postmarked ONLY 3 DAYS before we received it. So you be the judge, was I misled by the dealership, or did it languish in the postal system for a couple of weeks?

Pretty hight costs

I literally only went here because I read the reviews. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Immediately when I walked in he asked about my credit which i expected A long with A HELLO, HOW ARE YOU TODAY? NOPE. He just said well we are not a buy here pay here so if you don't have a good credit your not going to be approved. I was Barely inside the door yet. I'm going to Assume this was because I AM AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN and I was by myself. Smh I understand my credit is not the best but he didn't even want to give me a chance. But I am in need of new car so I kept pressing him because i wanted to know if I could be approved. At the end of it all he told me they could work with me I would just need an down payment which is understandable.

Bought a 2011 Suv from them.. Broke down almost immediately.. they said the title would get sent in the mail within a few weeks.. it's been 2 years (Update 3 years) and still haven't recieved the title.. won't answer calls, won't show his face... good o'l Jim Smiddy forcing me to get a bonded title right off the bat.. I'd give a zero star along with an arrest warrant if i could.. (Update, got a bonded title on it)

Bought a vehicle from good old Jon Barber and never even made it home with my car. Dishonest!!

We transported cars from the auto auctions for this company. They don't pay their bills, don't answer their phones, and in general are poor to do business with.
