Visited The Toy Store for the first time this morning. From the outside, it looks like an ordinary toy store. Once you go inside you find three floors of pure happiness. The selection of toys was absolutely amazing. They had toys I had not seen sonce i was a child myself. I will definitely be going back.

Visiting a toy store for the first time in a long time brought back a lot of found memories. But also, interesting to see how many new kinds of toys have been engineered in recent years

This toy store is particularly nice as it has 3 floors full of anything from outdoor gear to programming books

Yes! Finally, an amazing store. If you need a great selection of toys, this is the place for you. Three levels of toy awesomeness. This store had Legos I only see at Lego stores. Great selections of a variety of types of toys. This is a must stop and see store.

One of the best stores I’ve been to specializing in toys. There’s a fantastic selection of unique toys, games, puzzles, stuffed animals, and even crafting supplies. I highly recommend this store and will be back next time I’m in Lawrence.

Wow! An amazing place. Every toy you could imagine, and many you'd never have dreamed of. I'm pretty sure that if you looked at the roof, you'd find the patched hole that Santa's sleigh fell through. All are well organized both by age group and by type. All of the employees were knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

All I can say is WOW, if you are a Lego builder, you have hit the jack pot. I have never seen this many Lego builder sets outside a full on Lego store. And this just scratches the surface on the 3 floors of toys they have here. Bonus....staff is very friendly and helpful.

Three levels of unique toys from around the world. Knowledgeable staff aides you in making the best desisions. Only spent an hour there. Would have liked more time but they were closing. Fun fun store. Loved it!

The Toy Store downtown is a magical place full of things you might not be able to find just anywhere. Three floors of fun! Super expansive amounts of products any child would love.

This place is full of creative gift ideas! The amazing employees will also package your gifts in a very cute brown bag with the Toy Store logo, and whatever color tissue paper you would like!

Baby supplies like first toys, the super soft stuffed animals, teething chews, and even some feeding supplies; such as plates and silverware.
Books! Baby books, to young adult chapter books. Outdoor gadgets to help with any adventure! Balance bikes, scooters, and tricycles included. Kites, bug catchers, rockets. So many different science project kits!
Musical instruments! Arts and crafts!
ALL the plushies and stuffed animals galore.
Rare Lego sets. Hand puppets. Even unique and "old school" candies are available. Surprisingly there is a section of novelty socks that are rather silly too! Also, if you are on the hunt for Pokemon cards, there is quite a selection.

If you're on the hunt for that special gift for a kid, or even someone who is a kid at heart, definitely check out The Toy Store.

The only downsides I would include... The products you find here are rather expensive, and if you take your child with you, they will want ALL of the things.

This is the best toy store in the Kansas City/Lawrence area - if you live in KC, well worth the drive to visit. It has three floors of toys, games, children’s books, puzzles for all ages, and more. Aside from the Lego store itself, it has the best selection of Lego I’ve seen since Toys R Us went out of business. Great selection of Playmobile. Big game selection. Literally 100s of puzzles including Ravensburger.

One of the best stores I have every visited. Lots of Lego. Scores of games. Good selection of jigsaw puzzles. Clean restroom. Helpful staff. Stuff for all ages, infants to adults. Free park 2 hour parking nearby. Lots of fun, even if all you're doing is just browsing.

The Toy Store in Lawrence has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. We came here for the first time a month ago to let our daughter pick out her own baby doll but didn’t know where in the store we could find them. We asked an associate and he directed us downstairs. As we walked away, we heard him get on his walkie talkie and tell another associate “a baby is coming down to pick out a baby” and we’re greeted by another staff member at the bottom of the stairs who walked us directly to the baby section. Even though we live 45 minutes away, we will definitely be returning for our toy shopping needs in the future!

Coolest toy store ever! It has everything you could want from babies to adults. Pure joy in this lovely, two-story shop!

This place is so nostalgic, I don't have kids but if I did I would definitely take them there. That place reminded me of my own childhood.

Love being able to take the kids here, it reminds me of being a kid. Love to shop here for the kids' gifts from books, board games, and puzzles to Lego's, STEM, and outdoor toys so that we can support local businesses.

Pretty legit toy store filled with all kinds of things including a mellinium falcon Lego set. It was super cool 😎 I would highly recommend it 👌

The store was busy but that didn't stop us from spending almost 2 hours, looking and shopping!! So many things to bring out the child inside of anyone!!!

Wonderful store specializing in toys, from board games to a wide selection of Legos. There are lots of plush animals and good quality baby toys. I was struck by the selection and variety. Definite gem. Staff is very attentive and helpful. Worth a visit.

Amazing! A great selection of all things children and young at heart. Looking forward to doing holiday shopping for the littles here.
