Texas Roadhouse

No wait, fast, friendly service, food was out quickly and hot and very tasty. Price is still reasonable as well. I had the portobello mushroom chicken with green beans and steak fies, my husband has the pork chop and sweet potato with a house salad. Manager stopped by our table to make sure we were satisfied with the meal. As always, the dinner rolls are the best!

Great service, high-quality food, awesome and friendly servers. I recommend Camden. He recommends basically everything, but definitely the honey mustard. Rolls are always good. Chicken strips are well done and hand breaded. This allows the skin to be soft yet crispy. If you're old enough to drink, the server recommends the mudslide. It's like a chocolate milkshake but with alcohol. But you have to ask for it, and the bartender will need to know what it is as it's not on the menu.
The only real complaint I can make is that it's a tad loud, but that's just because it's busy.
I recommend reserving ahead of time. We did about 20 minutes before we even left the house so when we got there we waited maybe a minute before being shown to our table. So nice.
The peanuts are iconic, not for me, but everyone I was with was obsessed with it. Truly though, it's a great hang and place.

My husband and I came here on our way back to Nashville. It was crowded but we were seated quickly and asked if we were celebrating anything special or if we had been there before. While we have been to Texas Roadhouse before we had never been to this one. Our server Taylor was very attentive and brought drinks so quickly I was pleasantly surprised. Shortly thereafter the owner, Andrew, came to introduce himself and thanked us for choosing his restaurant and brought a nice sample of all of their sides. I had never had some of them, so it was a nice touch. Of course the food was excellent. I had the ribeye, perfectly cooked, and my husband had the smokehouse burger, equally precisely cooked.. My Blue Moon was so cold there were small ice crystals floating on top, sooo good! Andrew checked on us one last time and my husband and I both agreed that this was the best Texas Roadhouse we’ve e been to. Thanks to everyone there for making a regular Tuesday night dinner feel special!

Sure, it's a chain, but TR is consistently one of the best steakhouses in the KC metropolitan area. We're just never disappointed any time we go. You can easily pay 2-3 times as much for a steak at a fancier place, but you won't get a steak that is 2-3 times bigger or cooked 2-3 times better or tastes 2-3 times as good. You're just paying all that extra for the fancy ambience. At TR, my money goes farther. That means I get to add on all the goodies and extra sides and drink more beers...and not have to play dress up!

Came with a large group and the service was great! The rolls here are always delicious, and it is easy to have leftovers after eating a bunch of rolls before you get your food.

The food was great but the young lady our waitress was really rude which made me feel uncomfortable she didn’t give us bread I had to ask and once it was gone she never offered more an I didn’t even feel comfortable to ask for more I also had an appetizer she didn’t even come get the tray once we was done so we would have room for our food and when we paid she brought the receipt back and slammed it on the table. Do better Texas Roadhouse.

This is one of the best steak places in Lawrence for dining. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Special thanks should go to Austin who helped us at the table.
We got a chance to dine there for dinner and the place was super busy but we didn't have to wait for long.
I highly recommend this place and really loved the Texan atmosphere there.

Prime Rib was SAVORY!!!
Almost beats out a rancher I know that butchers and cooks his live stock the same day at his family's restaurant. This Prime Rib was Cut Off a Grass Fed Cow good.
Great service, friendly staff, fun atmosphere. Be sure to tip well. Their waitstaff deserve it.

The staff was great! The steaks could have cooked a smidge longer. Medium rare came out rare and medium came out medium rare. Just need to work with the chefs a little, otherwise, everything was great!

Sat at the bar on a Wednesday night. Bartender was friendly and prompt. The filet medallions with mushrooms was really tasty. Steak was a little over done for a medium. Sweet potato was perfect!!

Joe the server, is an absolute doll. We came in on 1-17-2024 around 630pm. The rolls were not out when we came in (no biggie). Our server stood by the rolls waiting to receive for our table forever and we appreciate that hustle. When checking out we asked Joe if we could get some Togo rolls if not it’s okay we knew the rolls were backed up. Joe said “I will try!”. We checked out and was about to leave, Joe then Leaps from the rolls section to our table and says “ My ladies, I am so glad I caught you” and the pulls out a box of FRESH rolls. Absolutely stunning performance by Joe. Promote and a give him a raise thank you.

For has always been good. Haven't had many issues. They can get busy and noisy, I would suggest getting in line through their website if you plan on diner. Otherwise there may be a wait. Lunch tends to be more quiet. Only had a steak overcooked once, but it was still edible. Staff tends to be ontop of things. Salad and bakes potatoe is always good.

The food is amazing, good food and good atmosphere. The service was fantastic, our server was Taylor S, she was amazing!! All the the questions we had were answered very professionally.

Oh, it was definitely legendary. We came in with a very loud and boisterous group, Our server dropped an entire tray of drinks on my brother in law, then not ten minutes later, dropped several dishes she was clearing from our table. After all of this she managed to stay composed and provide us with wonderful service, as well as follow ups with the manager to make sure we were taken care of. Everyone has an off night and she rolled with it and handled it like a champ.

The food was excellent...it always is...and I love the atmosphere. The waiters and waitresses are always great but this one was not. It was the first time ever that we got a waiter who never came back after taking our order. Other employees brought our food and even leftover containers bur all I can do now is hope the employees who checked on us got the tip and not the waiter who never came back!

Considering consistency, quality of service, environment, and food tastiness, this is one of the best places to eat in Lawrence. These days, no matter where you go, you will have to spend some money. If I'm spending money going out, I need it to be reliable. This is that place.

my boyfriend took me out to eat here on monday night and the service was so great:-) we were seated immediately and kindly! jaden was our waitress and she was so sweet and helpful, as well as the other staff who were checking on us. thanks for having us!

I really wanted pork chops tonight and this place did not disappoint. I like mine just barely pink in the middle and they cooked them perfectly. Service was excellent. Caesar salad, a loaded baked potato, and a KC Bier Co. Dunkel were the perfect compliments to a great meal.

Had a much needed date night! Food was great, atmosphere was awesome as always, service was phenomenal!

Been going for 9 years, never a bad experience and always excellent food! I can not eat red meat much lately and have switched to their pork chops by the server's recommendation, which is exquisite!
