King Buffet

The salt and pepper squid was good. The rest was great as usual. Some of the food stations were closed but I'm pretty sure they are still recovering from after covid.

Very clean restroom and dining area. Very nice looking good. Very nice and better than the ones in Overland Park KS. A very pleasant experience.

Best Chinese buffet around! We go every time we're in Lawrence. Sushi is always fresh, and they usually have deep fried sushi on buffet. Great dessert choices. Great food. Must try!

Prices were average, had a nice selection of food, staff was extremely helpful. Most of the food was amazing. Just had a couple of dishes that were a little bland. Would love to go back again next time I'm there

King Buffet is an excellent Chinese buffet, with lots of variety and everything freshly made, and well-prepared. The atmosphere is pleasant, relatively quiet, clean, and the service is excellent. I'm looking forward to returning soon.

Best buffet in the KC/Lawrence area! Green onion pork should be on the dinner menu too though, it's so good!

Pretty good spot for Christmas Chineese Buffett. : ) Food was Hot, sushi was cold, a lot of options were available, staff is friendly, we saw some neighbors eating there too and we all went home stuffed. Great Success!!

Excellent buffet within a reasonable price range. Enjoyed their choice of items and food was really tasty. I tried other Chinese buffets in overland park, but I must say, this one was way better and worth your price.
Do give it a try if you are hungry and searching for a buffet.
Quiet ambience (not at all noisy) which we usually don't find in other Chinese buffets. Good cooperative stuffs and very well behaved.

I love eating here. There's never been a food that I've tried that I haven't liked. The decor is adorable. The food is tasty and fresh. The desserts are cute and delicious. The service is kind and on point. Can't wait to go back.

Birthday Dinner last night was great!! We went at 6:30 on a Wednesday. Food was hot and service was exceptional!! Lots of things to choose from fruit and salad bar, sushi bar, hibachi bar to choose from then take plate to grill for a chef to cook it for you!! Definitely sceptical about it being in a shopping center but was totally worth it!! One adult was $15 Two adults and three kids was $50. We will definitely be visiting again!!

This is a very good Asian Buffet. The food tastes good and fresh. There are many food items available including sushi and a hibachi grill. The dumplings had great flavor. We have been on the road nearly a week and this has been our best meal!

Food is always good. Fresh and flavorful. Good many choices on sushi. The deserts change now and then. Always has fresh pineapple slices. But sometimes tastes salty. I think the cover it in salt. The wait staff and cabinet are nice and friendly. But did not refill drinks or get extra napkins but still I give 5 stars and return at least twice a month.

Have been to this place a couple times since moving to Kansas from Illinois 6 months ago. This is the best Asian food I have had so far! They have such a wide variety to choose from. The food is always fresh and the restaurant is clean. The two highlights that keep me coming back: Hibachi bar and fresh sushi!! Also the price for the buffet is very reasonable during lunch hours.

One of my favorite places to eat not downtown always super good. The staff is always sweet and quick to take away trash and refill drinks. It's always a joy to go💕

Delicious food as always. It was very busy today but they kept everything fresh and available! The hibachi grill is so good. They have really refreshing water also.. not like some restaurants where the water tastes funny or has an after taste. 😁😁

Exceeded expectations, excellent service. Waitresses went out of way to ask if we needed more. Really great food, and extremely affordable in our budget. Husband and I will come back for more when payed.

There were 7 at our table and our waiter was very pleasant and just great with the kids. I think tonight was the best time we have ever had at King Buffet. Thank you very much for your service and hospitality.

Decent...good selections for the buffet and didn't get full easy!!!! Too bad the one area that they cook in front of you wasn't going on, that'd be epic!!! Otherwise great!!!

I found the restaurant to be pleasant and clean. There was plenty of food and was presented well. It was at least what I would expect from any buffet-style Chinese / Asian restaurant. There was a little more to offer as far as choices over what I have recently had elsewhere. Service was great and the servers were very attentive.

The only down sides were: 1. Parking lot was not cleared properly of snow and ice. A lot of slush, mud and not knowing exactly where to step without slipping and falling. That isn't the Restaurants fault, it is the Property Management company. 2. They used small bowls with wide rims instead of large cups for their soups. It is harder to hold and take back with your plate full of food. 3. They didn't combine all the soups in one area. hard to get a feel for what was offered until you walk through the entire buffet.

Someone mentioned small, poorly made Fried Shrimp. I saw no evidence of that. I would have complained if that were the case. Take-Out can be hard on a busy night. I would suggest to that Commenter to try it again, or eat in.
