My family came in to get our Covid and flu vaccines and my youngest (5) was terrified of getting her shots. Bart, the gentleman who administered our shots, was so patient and kind while we both tried to calm her down enough to get the shots. It took nearly 25 minutes and while I was losing my patience with my daughter, he was calm and showed no signs of frustration. Unfortunately we needed another employees help to get it done, but she was also very kind and understanding.

Went in for COVID testing. Friendly and it was free. They even offered doing rapid, PCR or both. I chose both!

Marissa, Will and the entire staff of Orchard Drug are hands down the most friendly, professional and efficient staff of any pharmacy I've filled my prescriptions at to date.

I have noticed most pharmacies as of late seem chaotic with seemingly stressed out and overworked employees, but Orchard Drug was not only friendly but made me feel they were happy to be there and help their customers.

The hard working folks at Orchards are heroes. They make COVID testing and vaccines easy and truly accessible. My family has needed their services many times and they have always come through for us. All the staff has been friendly and helpful even when they are crazy busy!! We really appreciate how they have stepped up and offered these services to the community. I had a great experience getting a rapid covid test from Orchards Drug. Even though there was a steady stream of people coming in, they worked through the line efficiently and I didn't have to wait more than a couple of minutes from the time I completed the form to the time I was called up. Staff there are very friendly and professional. I will continue to go there for rapid tests!

Fast friendly service and efficient staff. Covid tests are always easy to do here. Check in, get your packet, fill out paperwork in the car and text them to let them know you’re ready. Quick swab test and you’re done. Vaccination for our four kids was also easy.

Orchard had this process correct from the start and they've only improved. We did our first test after hearing about them from friends.. we've referred dozens to them since and continue to make the drive to Lawrence from Shawnee when we need travel documents. They are simply the best.

I regularly use Orchards Drug for COVID testing, and their process is beyond easy. They have plenty of openings, and get test results back ASAP. The staff is incredible friendly and will answer any questions. Could not recommend a place more!

The nicest folks work here. I ran in the door 15 minutes before closing time and said I’d just do the rapid Covid test since they were getting ready to close. They graciously assured me there was more than enough time for both Covid tests, and they were super nice when I spilled one and had to get a second. Outside of meeting the nicest employees at Orchards Drug, today has been a nightmare, so I appreciate their kindness and patience even more.

These people do a great service for the Lawrence community; I’ve had to get rapid and PCR COVID tests here multiple times, and I’ve had nothing but great experiences.
Even though their testing lines are always super busy, they do all they can to move people through quickly and efficiently, while still being friendly and attending to any questions anyone has. The best part is, all of their COVID testing is free!
Facilities are also always clean and well-kept. I haven’t had prescriptions through them, but highly recommend them based off of their COVID testing alone.

*EDIT: I also wanted to add that I’ve always gotten my test results back in a very timely manner, as well.

Orchards is the best pharmacy in town. I love that it feels like fast service even if they’re busy. Which they are, these days. I just went in for a rapid COVID test (so were a lot of other people) and it was so efficiently handled by their friendly staff. The online testing site even moved quickly to get my results.
Seriously, I say this because if you’ve ever been to a local chain drugstore, you know what I mean. Long lines, harassed pharmacists, and overpriced merchandise. Orchards has great service by nice people, vitamins & supplements, crave-able local products such as beauty/personal care & candles, and the best greeting cards I’ve seen since The Palace (remember them, Lawrence people?). Go. You’ll be happy you did.

Super easy process - we were in & out in less than 10 minutes. We signed up for the appointment online, able to sign everyone in family up with one appointment, instead of entering Information multiple times. Thank you Orchard!! It is true about free - they didn’t even ask for our insurance card!

So grateful to Orchard Drugs and their Wonderful and courteous and professional staff. My daughter and I were able to go in get our Covid test, and our booster shot and the results all in under an hour. Thank you so much for the service that you provide and the way in which you provided.

It was very easy to schedule an appointment for the COVID vaccine for 3 of my family members. We were in and out in no time. Staff was efficient and friendly. The lady giving my shot-phobic daughter her vaccine was so great in trying to ease the nerves. 10/10 would recommend!

They were quick & offer both covid tests. When every other place had no openings, they did, & allow walk ins. They are friendly and that’s important because they were so overwhelmed with people wanting tests done. I haven’t been there for any other needs, but they seem to have it together. Thanks for the time and patience Orchards staff.

Orchards is and has been the unsung hero of the Lawrence/Douglas County community during this pandemic. The staff, often seemingly overwhelmed with people seeking Covid tests, is kind, generous, patient and thoughtful. I cannot say enough good about them. They embody the spirit of being of-service to this community.

They have the best Covid testing center! Very organized, easy appointments (but not necessary) and friendly, efficient employees to walk you through the process.

I highly recommend. This is “hands-down” the best testing place in Lawrence.

Best place to get a rapid covid test in town. Fast efficient and easy. Orchards drug really knows how to do it right. Only improvement would be allow walk-ins for the few people who need a test same day. The appointment system really makes the process go smooth as butter, though.
