My most visited Hy-Vee
Convenient and love the pharmacy

This was our first time there. The food was great, the atmosphere was perfect and our server, Jen (?), was a rock star. This 5vstar review is as much about her as it is the food. Its amazing how much the service affects your view of a restaurant and your desire to go back. She raised the bar. We were celebrating a friends anniversary and she made sure it was special for them. Loved it!

Love Campbell's and went in for a shot of wheatgrass and if course picked up a couple of other things. Thank you for serving Des Moines with great products and knowledgeable staff.

Love stopping in here when I need a few things. The employees are friendly and helpful. I like the Pharmacy. I transferred over here from my previous pharmacy because they got to where they never could fill my monthly script when it was time to because they were always "out of that medication". I've been with this Hy-Vee Pharmacy for about 6 months, and so far, they have been able to fill my script every month on time. Bravo!

This is by far the smallest hy vee in the metro but still a hy vee and can't go wrong there. A lot of nice little shops including Freidrichs coffee, a pho restaurant, a dog and pet store, a clothing store, us cellular store, and a couple more..

It's convenient and I am glad it's still around.

I love the conscience of Hy-vee Drug Town. I've been going to the store and pharmacy since they opened 15+ years ago. And Campbell's Nutrition has been around forever!!! Louie's Wine bar is pretty new but looks to be doing pretty well especially during patio weather. Bone-a-treat has everything any pet would need. The staff is eccellent!!! They are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Hy-Vee is the main attraction. It's a smaller store but very convenient to the neighborhood. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Yes Hy-Vee on 42nd and University I go there the quite frequently that's my neighborhood grocery store but the fact that the management Dave ordered me special things that other hyvees might have and they don't and they are great about it where I can order a case of lemons and get it I can turn around and ask for a favorite kind of ice cream they order it I mean I love my HyVee grocery store and management and the people that work there are so fantastic and so cool and nice and they're doing their work weather conversation with you so they're getting the job done and pleasing and understanding people that are I love them and I always get my diamond books or a book and every time I do I win and I only get my lottery books well that scratch books 20 bucks a book but and the lowest I've won has been 20 to buy another one and then I want I want 180 and then I'll win another 40 and that I just keep taking that 20 and praying it back and then using the rest of the money for groceries I think management and hobby and I think their personnel and the cashier's they're great and I will just keep on going back thank you so much. My Hy-Vee store 42nd and University check it out the people are great.jl

Lots of different shops here, grocery (Campbell's), coffee, Hy-Vee and quite a few others. Central location, with many eating options and plenty of parking.

I think it is better to check out the individual locations, so I'll have more in depth reviews there.

Excellent hyvee for a quick stop to pick up a few items. Love the pet store as they listen and are very helpful. The Chinese restaurant is good, love the buffet.

Easy access to the shops and parking lot navigating is smooth. Many local places to support.

Good selection of stores. Is nice to have a health food store, normal grocery store, and a coffee shop all in one shopping center

The HyVee-Drugtown grocery store is a manageable size, unlike all the new behemoths. There are many independent small local businesses, offering everything from exotic, affordable, free-market clothing, accessories, and art, to organic pet food etc store, to a local coffee shop chain, to a health food store, a wine bar.... just a great all around area.
