When my late cat, Luna, was sick, I told Dr. Jaschen that I wanted her to take care of all of my animals. A week after Luna passed, I brought Geoffrey Skyhawk DeHavilland, III in. Jeefy (Geoff’s nickname) didn't flip out at her. She is so good with my boys, especially Geoff who is a little punk and a terrorist at the vet. She respects his kitty minutes (a new term we learned from her), and gives him loves like he didn't just try to kill her. She is also really good with Ryan (Jeef’s brother), but Ryan is also a pretty easy catto. I do love that she tries to keep him in his carrier if he's not coming out. She's so good about keeping the stress level low. We love all the techs we have worked with.

While my dog doesn't live going to the vet, she loves seeing the vet techs and doctors (shout out to Dr. Wilke & Dr. Jaschen!) when we do have to go. Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and professional, which definitely makes me feel comfortable entrusting my dog's health with IVWC. Their care of my dog takes the edge off when she does have to go to the vet (the treats help, too)😂

We just moved to the Des Moines area. We are very happy with the care our three Scottish terriers have received. This is the first vet for our new puppy. We have had everything from his microchip to regular care done. Everyone is very friendly and professional. They are so well organized, we even pay for services right in the exam room. When we are done, they have an exit out to the parking lot so we don’t have to pass back through the lobby with our rowdy Scotties.

I love bringing my dogs here! Having the separate entrance is great for my fear reactive dog because we can be assured there are no other dogs for him to react to. The vets and the techs are always happy to see my dogs and they give them so many loves and treats. Dr Wilke calmed my nerves so much when my older lab mix needed a dental procedure and I was anxious about the anesthesia. Now I’m there at least once a month for her acupuncture which she loves having done! When we pull into the driveway for the clinic she perks up and can’t wait for lamb lung treats and laser on her hips!

Wow! The care our Nova received from Dr Wilkes and her team were beyond amazing. They were patient, thorough and very knowledgeable. Explained everything before the exam. Got to know us as a family even before the exam. The next day they even gave us a call to check in on our little Nova to see how she was doing. I have never felt so much love and care from a veterinarian and care team. Thank you again!

We're very pleased with the way the office operates and how they handled our dog. We took our little Lucy to them after a back injury that left her with little to no control of her hind legs. After initial review of her imaging and response to movement and feeling exam, it was determined she was a good candidate for laser and acupuncture therapy. To our amazement, Lucy had visible results after her first laser treatment. Her second treatment was a combination of laser and acupuncture and she's showing good signs. We'd highly recommend this before putting your pet through a surgery that may not work, and may even make it worse. Thank you so much Iowa Veterinary Wellness Center for offering a holistic approach to healing our beloved four legged family member!♡

I have never been so pleased and comfortable with Veterinary care for my dogs, as I am right now, with the vets and assistants at Iowa Veterinary Wellness Center. When you have vets taking a minute out of their day to call and touch base checking in on your sick for baby.. yep just totally pleased! Thank you all!! Highly recommended!

My dog had her first appointment on 6/1 with Dr. Wilke, and I could not be more pleased. The vet tech Bri was also terrific. Both were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, I cannot recommend them highly enough!

We introduced our 8-week-old labrador retriever "Gabby" to Iowa Veterinary Wellness staff, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the service and kindness that was extended to our entire family during our visit. Gabby had toys to play with and it was a wonderful experience meeting the vet and the entire staff. When we asked about "socializing" her, they offered the opportunity during our appointment to send in the staff members one-at-a-time to meet Gabby. She couldn't have been better taken care of during the physical exam and while receiving her booster shot. All of our questions were answered, and we were sent home with additional information to review for Gabby's future health and wellness. We trust, appreciate and really like the experts at Iowa Veterinary Wellness.

Monster and I had an amazing experience with the office crew and Dr Wilke. He responded well to his Acupuncture and Chiro adjustment. We are looking forward to our next visit! I appreciated the kindness and concern for Monsters care. Dr Wilke knows her stuff and I can tell she really loves what she does!

All of the staff were very sweet and patient with our timid, prickly boy. We have tried what feels like everything to help him with his health issues and for the first time we feel like we have hope and a plan. We had been told to just "accept" this will be his life by vets before; we couldn't accept that answer and watch him suffer. To hear that we have options that we hadn't heard of and a care team that genuinely wants to help him get better was so refreshing to us. . We very much appreciated the time and attention they took to listen to us and answer all of our questions. We look forward to Baxle's journey with Iowa Veterinary Wellness Clinic to better health!

Dr. Wilkie took her time with us, listened to our concerns and was ready to take on our challenging journey! I love her approach to help our sweet boy over come his issues. We are switching our primary veterinarian care here, involves us driving 2 hours but so worth it. All the staff were great we connected with from the nurse at check in- the front office, Thank you IVWC team! We look forward to your care for our fur baby!!

It's great to have choices all at the same location. I can take my cats to Iowa Veterinary Wellness and know that there are safe and effective alternatives to standard western medicine available that are better choices for my pets long-term health. Everyone is so friendly, they make you and your pets feel like their most important client. The office environment is so much more comfortable than other doctor's offices-it's like going to someone's home. I like that they continue to learn about new treatments and conditions. I've taken my cats here for many many years and won't go anywhere else.

I love how Dr. Wilke and the staff treat my fur babies like their own! They are very caring and the atmosphere is calming for anxious critters.

My dog has seen Dr. Wilke for chiropractic adjustments two times now and each experience has been fantastic. Her and her staff are always kind and professional. My dog lives a happier and healthier life since I've started brining her here. 100% would recommend Dr. Wilke and her staff!

I appreciate the time the care team took with us, answering all my questions. I liked being able to wait in the car with my young dog and not having to try to manage her in a waiting room with other animals. Most of all I appreciate the range of treatment options offered and the thorough information and research provided about the ovary sparing spay procedure. We decided to take our pup to IVWC after receiving referrals from people in our neighborhood. He’s the first pet we have owned on our own so we needed a lot of direction and had the “first time parent” worries. Aside from his regular monthly visits, they have been so responsive and helpful with advice any time we call with questions! They are also always able to get him in right away if needed. The staff is always so friendly and our pup seems to really like it there! Definitely recommend taking your pet in to see them!

I love my new vet! I've always wanted to bring my dog here, mainly because they believe in a holistic approach to medicine. Dr Gerhardt was great. She spent a good long time visiting with my dog and I and getting to know us. We discussed all sorts of different approaches and all my questions were answered thoroughly. I would definitely recommend this clinic to my animal loving friends and family.
