Jacob cleans our tank at Molly Maid, shows up when scheduled, informs us of any changes and very knowledgeable about our fish. Great service and healthy fish!

I shopped around town for my first ever saltwater fish tank. I found Jacob at Exotic Aquariums to be the absolute best! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Jacobs customer service exceeds the other shops I checked out. All of my questions were answered with a smile. Exotic Aquarium installed my tank and will come every month to service it. The pricing is great as well. Stop in and look around. They will be happy to order in any fish you are needing. Highly recommend.

First time I came into the store, I was looking to be a first time fish owner with lots of (probably dumb) questions. The owner was very helpful, answered me thoroughly and helped me carry everything out to my car. He advised me on every part of concern I should have, now come a couple of months later, I have a very happy betta. Went in today looking for an algae eater, and came out happily with a new pleco and pointers on how to make sure it stays healthy. I have always been greeted with a smile. Personable man, amazing store. I don’t think I will go anywhere else for my fish needs, and for fun treats for my dogs on the way out!

Not only was Jacob polite and professional, he was very thorough and did not leave any mess behind. He was great about explaining everything and I found him to be pleasant to talk with. He is also understanding. He has cleaned my tanks for about a year now, and I'm completely satisfied. The prices are reasonable and worth every penny. when I first got my fish tanks I had no idea how to take care of them. I have learned a lot from Jacob over this last year. You wont regret it.

My daughter went here to buy a fish tank and a fish. He helped her every step of the way and when she went back for fish #2 he was very helpful again. I would love for this business to grow into something big for the very nice young man that owns and operates the store. If you want to support a local store and you need fish, stop and give this little shop a go!

I just called here to see if they sell birds. I spoke with a gentleman name Jacob and he was so professional and polite. He then stated that they do not have birds but then He recommend that we go to another small business in the Des Moines area that cares so much for their animals. If I ever have a need for their services I will for sure be going here. I felt like I was talking with a friend even tho i have never been here before!!! AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

My 10th grader needed to complete a biology assignment and needed some fresh water creatures. This was a 1 stop shop on our side of town that had everything we needed. 2 shrimp, 1 snail, a handful of water weeds and 1 very Happy Student. Thanks so much for your help today, we are enjoying our new pets!

I purchased several cherry shrimp. They were healthy and active. Now, a month later, they're reproducing and have become a favorite addition.

Shop was small and quaint, owner was very friendly and knowledgeable, and fish were very fairly priced! i can’t wait to watch this shop grow! :)
