Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Ran through this afternoon and I just have to say that the gal working was exceptional! She was entirely alone, busy, and nailed our order! The food was on point, the burgers were neat, we got napkins, and even sauce I forgot to ask for. One woman doing the work of at least three and better than all the rest! I wish I had gotten her name. I will be back next time I’m in town and I will be on the look out for her.

The assist manager did a great job Sat 8-19 when a hostel customer was so rude and loud. That customer was way out of line and was a bother to all the customers in the place! Great job to the Assistant manager!

The server was so nice and helpful with a smile.

I come here fairly often, and I've never once had a bad experience with the staff. The one and only time they ever messed up my order it was fixed right away after heading back through the drive thru. The manger let me keep the messed up order, gave me a new one for free, and even gave me a coupon for the next time I was there! I was only looking to get my sandwich fixed but they really took it above and beyond. For a fast food place I would consider the food above average, and of course the blizzards are all amazing after a long hot day in the sun.

They did a great job! It was fast and delicious!

I stopped by for some ice cream and blizzards. The woman working the window saw that I had multiple items and offered a drink carrier. It was nice to arrive home without ice cream and chocolate all over the car.

Snickers blizzard with Peanut Buttercup is the best way to go. A little more flavor than your boring standard "Snickers".
But after my trip today I have to deduct a star because they forgot my ranch dressing for my onion rings. I'm the person who can't eat an appetizer without a condiment. What's frustrating is they even asked if I would like a dipping sause for the chicken finger we ordered and we said no, but said we would like some ranch for the onion rings instead.
Thankfully I salvaged them with some Mayo at home and they didn't go to waste, and they were delicious.
They do give "Pup-Cups" for no extra charge if you have your dog(s) with you, which makes it an exciting trip for my two.

Service today was beyond excellent. Lady who took our order at the drive through was super clear and made sure she got the entire order correct, huge plus. Blizzard was exceptionally good todayas well. Whoever made the Snickers with extra Reeses, you are a Legend, and this is for you: 🏆

Dairy queen is a neighborhood favorite. I miss the gal who used to work there.she had the best customer service but I don't care who you are dairy queen is happy. But please don't yell at the kids working there, I have witnessed that more than once. Those kids work their butts off ... lighten up

I don't go here at all. However, I grew up with my mom taking us here. I was feeling nostalgic and had my favorite that I hadn't had in years. The peanut buster parfait. It was incredible. Vanilla soft serve ice cream with hot fudge and spanish peanuts. I may go back again soon for my other childhood fav. The buster bar.

Great staff and food. Had chicken planks, and love the gravy!

For being crazy busy, the employees were still kind, smiling and laughing. There was a line of cars wrapped around the building and the lobby was full. I didn't mind the wait because of the great attitudes of those working there.

I go here often and I've never been disappointed with my service. There was one time where I either forgot my card or they forgot to give it back, but I went back and they had it waiting for me! They always deliver the food I wanted and was expecting. The staff here are really nice and understanding when a mistake is made and that's so good, a lot of restaurants struggle with that and I'm glad this isn't one of those! Very satisfied with my service here.

The wait was a little long but the smiles on my kids face and the people working there was very nice and the bathroom was very clean

There is a young lady harmony. Service is superb. Friendly kind and quick. Extra napkins were offered. Received with great appreciation. Food was delicious. Ice cream there is second to none. Thank you very much to the staff. Hard work was done in an instant. Great job.

This location is great.

The service is always fast and friendly. And the location is always clean and we'll maintained.

For this visit we only had the ice cream because we had a bogo coupon and it was a little too early for dinner, but the 2 times we have ate here the food was always good, so don't be afraid to actually eat some of their hot food once in awhile (I particularly like the Mushroom Swiss Burger).

Very friendly and helpful staff. This Dairy Queen surpasses the high quality standards of the chain. There is plenty of parking available and is easily accessible from the main road. It is on the eastern outskirts of Altoona and can be missed if you are not paying attention - but is worth the time to find it.

Amy was managing, and she did a great job with the teens that work under her. She was super personable and helpful. She added to the experience.

I just wanted to give Rachel the manager here a shout out. She’s really going above and beyond for me in regards to the questions I have. Absolutely phenomenal customer service

It was busy, it normally is, so we were ready for it. The staff normally works quick so it's not a huge wait. We only had fries an a cone, but they were good!
