Dr Kessler has been great from my initial visit and diagnosis through follow-up visits the past 10 months. He always seems to be very concerned for the patient (me), listened and offered advice for next steps and alternatives.
I felt well cared for, not rushed, and i trusted his judgement totally.
And he has a great sense of humor! Cheers for that when one is feeling nervous in a doctor’s office visit.

The assistants and staff are all great as well.

At times I feel cynical about healthcare, but thank you Dr Kessler for renewing my faith in caring, excellent medical care!

This is my 2nd “situation” I’ve needed to see a podiatrist. Dr. Kessler took excellent care of me back in 2009, so I chose to see him again for a new problem. He is just as wonderful as he was in 2009. He’s intelligent, patient, kind, and personable. (He’s also quite funny) :) I’m a nurse, so I’m very picky when it comes to how I’m treated while under a physicians care. He has excellent bedside manner. His nurse(s) were all so caring & kind as well. (And front desk + X-ray tech). VERY good experience yet again!!

The best and kindest doctor I’ve ever seen in my life. I was panicking from an anxiety attack from the unknown of the treatment and he assured me everything would be alright and calmed me down and was just so sweet. The best bed side manners hands down. That’s very important to me. He took great care of me and so did his assistant and the ladies at the desk were very helpful too. This whole office almost blows my mind. Usually doctors offices are eh. But this is 10/10 service all around. I love this place. And you can borrow my cat ears anytime Doc. :)

Thank you so much Dr. Kessler I really cant wait to see the results. I can feel it. The procedure was fast and i don't know what type of talk you give my husband because I am the baby i never been. 10 years being with my husband he had never made me or the kids pancakes but he is taking wonderful care of me. Everything i hear is 'the doctor say' thank you so much cant wait to heal so i can get the other foot done. See you soon

Dr Kessler is the best doctor I've ever dealt with!!!! Amazing bedside manor! Genuinely funny! But at the same time is extremely knowledgeable. Truly one of the leading podiatrist in Iowa! Dr Kessler gave me my life back! I couldn't walk. After surgery on both ankles and some physical therapy I can walk again! A couple of days after surgery I called the number he gave me for IF I had any questions. I thought it would be to an answering service or an "Ask-A-Nurse" type service, but to my surprise it went directly to him!!! A weekend evening and I am taking directly with the surgeon? WOW! That's commitment to the patient!!! I can't say enough about how great Dennis is! I am one of his Raving Fans!!!

Dr. Kessler was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and a great personality. He explained my situation and treatment with great detail and it was easily understood. An excellent experience and I highly recommend!

Everyone here was amazing! I was very happy with the care I got from Dr. Kessler to the nurse, x-ray technician, the gals at the counter. Was very happy with Dr. Kessler listening to me and not telling me what I have to do. We worked on a plan together and before I knew it I was able to be released from his care for my foot. Thank you to all the staff and Dr. Kessler.

Dr. Kessler by far is the most genuine and funny Doctor I have ever met. His humor makes the bad part's not nearly as bad. Thank you for your many years of service to so many. God bless

I have seen Dr. Kessler on a few occasions and feel very comfortable having him as my foot doctor. He knows exactly what my foot problems are and what need to be done. Dr. Kessler is very professional and as always good to see him. Not only getting down to business but can joke around and has good come back reply’s. As for my appointment, the scheduling time was excellent and in a timely manner. It is great to see him and don’t think there is any other doctor like him.

I have been a patient of Dr.Kessler for around 10 years now. Out of every doctor, of every profession that I have ever seen, he is the only one that sticks out. Dr. Kessler not only listens to what you have to say, he treats you as an equal. His bedside manner is phenomenal. You are not a number in his room, but rather a friend that he takes time to talk to. I will continue going to Dr.Kessler as long as he is working. You will not come across a more professional and dedicated doctor. I can not recommend him enough.

Dr. Kessler made sure I was very comfortable before the procedure, he spoke to me and explained everything in detail. He had a great attitude and was very personal and friendly. My overall experience was pleasurable.

Excellent visit with the doctor; he was very knowledgeable and has a wonderful bedside manner. The next six weeks (anticipated healing time) will be rough but it is made better because we get to work with this doctor. Thank you!

My wife, Dorothy, was seen by Dr. Kessler. He was on time, very cordial and pleasant, and explained her condition clearly. He gave clear recommendations for treatment and invited her to call if any questions. A very positive experience!

I suffer with an autoimmune disorder and as many of you know with an autoimmune disorder you have a lot of symptoms that you never get any answers for. I have been having several issues for years and dr. Kessler is the first doctor that has actually listen to me and is giving me the resources I need to get help. He was kind to my kids you are not even the visit and overall an amazing guy. I would recommend him to anybody.

I recently went in to see Dr Kessler with a problem I was having with my right foot. I had an ingrown toenail and a Mortons Neuroma. He told me what he could do for my ingrown toenail and performed the procedure right then. He also gave me a shot at the same time to take care of the pain from my Morton’s Neuroma. He gave me instructions on how to care for the procedure on my ingrown toenail. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. The whole time I’m there he was joking and making me feel at ease with what he was doing. I appreciated his warm and caring manner. A definite 100% referral from me.

Dr. Kessler has treated my foot ailments for over 30 years. He prescribed orthodics for me decades ago. The custom made orthodics allowed me to continue running for many years despite having metatarsal issues. The metatarsals had fallen and couldn't get up.
Dr. Kessler is a very kind man, very easy to talk to with a terrific sense of humor. He recently treated me last week in trimming callous from my feet. I recommend Dr Kessler to anyone who needs foot care. Dr. Kessler is a great asset to Iowa Ortho. Thank you for your years of service. Ken Mikesell

I've seen lots of docs over the years for lots of things and I'd say of all of them, Doc Kessler has THE BEST bedside manner. Great guy, great doc and seems to be a good person. Yay!

My husband is not one to go to the Dr but he loved this Dr! Too bad he’s not a general practitioner so he would actually go to see a doctor for a full check up! He was thorough and honest and didn’t push unnecessary treatments! I’ m making an appointment for myself next!

My father had an in-office procedure done by Dr. Kessler and he not ony did a great job, but also made it an enjoyable experience with his fun and entertaining personality. Would highly recommend!
