C Fresh Market

I absolutely love this place. This is where I can buy duck and all the fixings. Well, this is where I like to get duck. It always seems busy in here so you know it's one hell of a place to shop. The day I went in here I did my grocery shopping, decided to get sandwiches from here instead of McDonald's and I don't regret the decision. That sandwich was so much better than the greasy, often semi-warm or cold food from the burger joint. The homemade sweet potato chips are to die for people. Go support this local business well worth it.

I was shocked by the variety here. They have lots of fresh, dry and frozen options for a number of cultures. I was able to buy fresh Cassava to make a special cake for my Brazilian friend, and I found lots of ingredients for my Chinese hot pot night. My Bosnian friend introduced it toe and she is a big fan too. The aisles are clean and it smells clean.

I love the place, though I did get food poisoning from the food sitting by the front. Any of their food that’s sitting out I WOULDNT eat, they don’t check temperatures or keep it warm enough to be safe. But the selection they sell is a great and so affordable, so I couldn’t give anyone but 5-stars. The food poisoning sucked though, can never eat a steamed roll again and even thinking about C-Fresh store makes me a bit nauseous, kinda sad :( oof

Best Asian grocery store near Des Moines. They have a lot of fresh vegetables, and fish. You will also find as usual household items.

Always stocked with grab and go fresh spring rolls, banh mi, and other treats! Aisles are small of course but I feel comfortable in there with a stroller.

Best market for all meats, vegetables and necessary goodies. Best fish, Pompano for grill and curry. They do also cut and clean it for you. They also have blue shell crabs, beef, a pho outlet, etc.. definite must try..

The best pho in Des moines, great taste, full of vegetables, quick, clean, friendly restaurant. Prices are fair, portions are huge, your won't leave hungry.

C Fresh is the largest Asian supermarket in DSM. There is a large selection of produce that are all reasonably fresh. The aisles are all well stocked with various Asian products and there is even a small Vietnamese restaurant within the market (Pho 515). The parking is quite large and market is conveniently located near several freeway on ramps for easy access by car. For a Chinese supermarket, C Fresh is definitely on the clean and bright side. The staff are all friendly, even though most cannot speak English.

An interesting and unique store. A bit small for what they offer, making it hard to navigate for how busy it was.

Food on a budget? Here is where you go. Everything you never knew existed but wanted to try is here as well. I've expanded my culinary palette in my private kitchen and in my professional kitchen as well. I owe this place much. As they always provide safe products at an economical price. Better than the rest

Awesome one stop shop for Viet and international foods/ingredients and snacks. New to the area and was shopping at other small mom pop locations which was great but found myself going to multiple stores before finding everything needed. This was a great one stop shop for me. Has lots of meat cuts with bone in still and good amount of seafood fresh and frozen. Was even able to find Banh Mi and baguettes to make some at home. Even found the Banh mi lunch meats there! Overall highly recommend this place.

C fresh is one of the best Asian market in des moines. We can get some of Indian groceries here like varieties of dal. Lot of noodle items and snacks are available there.. We see fresh vegetables and prices are little less compare with other stores. We can buy fresh fishes and meats. We usually buy gold pampano, goat and organic chicken here. They will clean and cut the fish and meats themselves. It is so helpful for us. Inside the market PHO 515 restaurant is available. We can get soups , grilled duck meat and juices are there. They taste so 😋 yummy. I really like c fresh market.
