I was seen here today by Dr. Whitmer. Everyone is the office was really incredible and professional. When I called to schedule an appointment the receptionist was knowledgeble and knew how to help me out. His nurse Sonya, both over the phone and in person was really nice and knowledgeble as well. I didn't have to wait very long for my appointment from being checked in to being roomed. Also the Medical Assistant Acasia(I don't remember how to spell it now), she listened to me very well and did a good job of walking me through with what she did. (If a person has medical anxiety or trauma she is the perfect person to be paired with). The appointment itself was wonderful. Dr. Whitmer did a wonderful job of explaining to me what happened to me which was an omental infarction and offered me different medicine as I was having issues with tolerating with the medicine they gave me in the ER. Also another thing to appreciate is the diversity there, it is not very often I go to a mercy clinic and I see a lot of women and a lot of minorities working there. If I had to change one thing it would be I wish they had more wider chairs or more couches in the waiting room. The chairs in there can be tight for plus size people.
