Mi Lindo Mexico Taco Truck

We stopped on a road trip because we found this place on Google. It was an EXCELLENT decision to stop. I don’t think I’ve had tacos that good outside of Texas or LosAngels. I had the carne asada (see the picture) and my Mom got the el pastor. Both were fantastic! If you can add this taco truck to your trip, it will be worth it.

We needed a quick meal during a road trip, and this was right off the highway. Quick, tasty, inexpensive - perfect. We had tacos, but they have a large selection of items. A couple of picnic tables outside.

I have been going here for several years and I love this place! I got a position at work where I can not get there as often as I would like to now but I can not say enough good things about it. I have tried AL Pastor Tacos all around the DSM Metro and beyond and I am yet to find an AL Pastor taco as good as it is at Mi Lindo. Keep up the good work folks! The owners are very polite and the prices are very within the norm for a Taco Truck in the DSM Metro.

I absolutely can NOT say enough on how AMAZING the food was!! I haven't ate at the food truck, I ate at the restaurant . I was so impressed. I ordered the chicken burrito. It was so clean tasting. It wasn't overwhelming with a ton of stuff in it to where you cant pick it up or soggy. I never ever take home leftovers from Mexican. I did take mine home. Two hrs later I ate the other half. I just couldn't stay away from it. I was stuffed. All the flavors are very clean. Simple. The portion is a really perfect. Three salsas were given to us w chip . Pretty spicy for me but perfect for the fans on the more spicy side.
I really, really hope you do try this place. The staff was really sweet as well. This is one place I am truly rutting for.

I stopped to pick up dinner for myself and four of my team members working late tonight. They had the food hot and ready very fast and it was delicious! If you are ever in the area I would definitely recommend!

I live on the west side and make the drive anyway. Serious quality and freshly prepared. The best breakfast burritos in town... excellent tacos with all kinds of meat choices. Very personable and always service oriented. I highly recommend!

Three of us ordered Hungry Boy Breakfast at 10am. This is, by far, the BEST breakfast I have ever had!! The price is right, the food is fresh, and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! If you haven't tried it yet, you are missing out! Tacos are also amazing!! From the Saydel Crew!!

Some of the best Tacos I've had in the Midwest. Stopped by here on our way through Des Moines and it did not disappoint! It was breakfast time, but they also were serving their lunch items. My boyfriend had their breakfast burrito, super yummy, big portion, wrapped super well. I had their chorizo, asada, and al pastor tacos. Everything was seasoned so well, and their salsa and hot sauce was also a hit. Everything was super delicious and fresh! Will stop again next time we're in Des Moines.

Great Mexican taco's and very friendly staff. Reminds me of home. Nothing like a good taco truck to save your taco craving! Highly recommend trying this place out! Good prices for the food! 😍

This food is amazing in every aspect of its way, even offered me more then one Jarito just to take with me and offered it to be free with this establishments greathe and delicious food. Whoever inside the truck was very nice and made it simple because the food gave the best impression. A review is not enough for what the tacos gave a bite on and the service thank you so much. And this is someone from Des moines who drove out just to see how true the other reviews where and they where more then what we expected with flavor and all. Thumbs up and keep it up!

Stopped here during a drive from Milwaukee to Denver, and am sad I won't be able to come back!! The al pastor and chorizo tacos were delicious and just as good as the tacos as I used to get from famous taco trucks in Los Angeles when I lived there. Highly recommend!

Always tasty, quick, and friendly. Great for a quick, yummy, low priced lunch. Best breakfast burritos in town available inside the BP gas station if you get there early enough.

Never eat at what we called in Texas Rouch coaches. But I was starving and in between where I was heading and just pulled in and told the guy give me your best breakfast. I took it to my car and didnt really expect to enjoy it just needed something in my stomach. Wow it was delicious and a big surprise.

The besy tacos the owner was very nice to us. Y he foid is extremely delicious tacos are so authentic flavored if you visit Iowa please stop and order some great food i will stop by before i get back to Kentucky

Fabulous meaL. We rolled into the truckers turf in west Des Moines worried that the dinner options would be pretty dismal and suddenly there was mi lindo mexico. Tortas, tacos lenguas. Chorizo. The real stuff and great salsa. A destination. Only wish we could linger long enough to go back for breakfast but gotta get rolling early. Maybe on the way back....
