Great location and views. Limited menu but everything tastes great

This place is super cool. They have good selection of drinks (alcohol, wine, coffee etc) and some basic, but very good, sandwiches and the alike. The view of the river is very nice. You can rent the place out for private parties as well and the staff is very helpful if you want to!

We had our wedding reception here two months ago and it was the most wonderful time. Melissa was extremely attentive and made the place look beautiful. The food was delicious and the view was gorgeous. Highly recommend!!

The hub spot serves excellent sandwiches, salads, and drinks from a small modern building on the Des Moines riverfront. The food is quite good and the atmosphere is great. Whether you're sitting inside the restaurant enjoying the view through the wall of windows or sitting on the patio al fresco, you'll enjoy your time at the Hub.

Great venue, amazing staff! Just did floral for a wedding here. Staff was so accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend the hub for events or casual lunch.

Relaxing spot. Good beer, snacks, sandwiches, and river views. Grab a bloody mary during the farmers market and get away from the crowds. They host private events and fun activities such as bag toss leagues.

Some of the best views in Des Moines. Stop by on a nice day and enjoy the outdoors while having one of several great Iowa beers on tap.

As others have said, it's a relaxing place on the riverfront that makes decent espresso and has good local brews on tap. Google won't let me rate it a 4.5, so I rounded up.

Unique and cool location. Great service and quality of food. They could get a better hot tea selection. Or at least maintain it and toss the lipton! :)
