Global Cafe

Came in at peak time - full cafe and great energy. The person who greeted and sat me let me know that the kitchen had just been slammed, so orders may take a bit longer.
That was very thoughtful! But the food and drink came out in great time.
Lovely ambiance in this cute little cafe. It was nice to sit and relax.
I tried the Global Mocha, which featured a dark chocolate infused with green chiles. It was gorgeous!! Green chiles are a great compliment to chocolate. They did it perfectly here. The server recommended the iced version as they serve iced lattes with coffee ice cubes. *Chef's kiss*
I got the special Pain Perdu - New Orleans style French toast. Served with bacon and syrup. Delicious!
Can't wait to come back and try lunch!

This place has delicious breakfast and specialty lattes. It is wonderful for a small group or as an individual. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. Stop by and give them a try.

Coffee ice cubes! I just wanted to start with that. I only got coffee, so I can't speak to the food but, the coffee was great. I got the cold pressed iced coffee and, was surprised when I got down to the ice to find, they use coffee ice cubes. It's the little things, I love it.

I love this locally owned cafe, they make their own green chili and salsa…honest to god it’s so tasty. They have lots of options but I always go for the basic Farmer’s breakfast which reminds me of my time in Central America: black beans, rice, eggs, salsa, tortillas…staple for breakfast and or lunch. Their specialty coffee drink barraquito is insanely good. Great service, super friendly staff and owners.

I really enjoyed tye Enchiladas, plus the choice of Sauce was very good. Chai Latte Hot and Clean was so delicious

I’ve been going to Global Cafe every weekend for 3.5 months now. The service and food are outstanding and it is now my favorite place in Lawrence for brunch. The environment is always welcoming and has such a great atmosphere. The latest special I had was the mimosa flight (pictured) that was a perfect addition to biscuits and gravy with their staple green chili. This is a place that is always 5/5 stars.

Another great visit to Global Cafe! My Global latte (dark chocolate w/chile infused simple syrup) was amaaaazing and my Global quesadilla was really yummy! Crystal got the Strawberry and Banana pancakes and....... WOW!
We are already looking forward to our next visit!
Only negative, as a person who is highly sensitive to high pitch sounds, the constant door bell dinging was a little harsh, but that is just me and my wife. :)

They are doing free sack lunches for those who need it. They are also taking appropriate COVID-19 precautions. I appreciate that I can get green chili on just about anything.

My husband and I love to eat here for a Saturday or Sunday brunch. Service is always great, food is mouthwatering and fresh. When it says spicy, it's SPICY.

Really good breakfast options. My girlfriend and I are vegan and their vegan options are really nice. Great Service ... Awesome Atmosphere

One of the most flavorful and memorable menus in the city, in my opinion. The owner (or maybe manager?) and staff are amazing. The food is always fresh and delicious.

We all loved our food! The posole was especially good. They roast their own chiles, and all the food shows the same love. Laid- back, neighborhood atmosphere. One of my favorites in Lawrence.

Great staff, local restaurant, uses local products that are available, unique and tasty 😋 South American quisine nice size portions with reasonable prices.

Everything was perfect! The servers were very warm and welcoming. The food was excellent and brought to our table very quickly. Each ingredient stood out as fresh and flavorful. The coffee was very good, but still just a notch below Alchemy (which just happens to be next door). I enjoyed the interesting touch of using different coffee mugs of all kinds. They feed wildlife at the reception station out front. I think that's great since humans have pushed many native species out of the downtown area.
I'm absolutely going back. Global Café is an excellent experience!

Stumbled across this place I saw a line before they opened and that’s what caught my attention but what made me write this review is seeing how they take care of the local community and taking care of people that most businesses would call the police on. They will have my repeat business from here on.

The staff is very friendly & accommodating. The food is excellent; very fresh & well prepared. The price is average for Downtown Mass St Lawrence. We spoke to the owner, Katey, and discovered they opened in 2007. She takes great pride in getting the best products to serve. I warned her, "we'll be back".

Unique menu items, great service. Something for everyone. Food was excellent as well as special beverages.

They have many vegan options and lots is delicious smoothies. The staff is very friendly as well. It’s typically packed on the weekends, so sometimes service can be a bit slow. Sitting outside on their patio is very relaxing!
