Days Inn by Wyndham Russell

Broke down on the highway and got to stay here for the weekend. Great spot. I wish it was warmer so the outdoor pool could be open, but what can you do? Pizza Hut and Sonic are on either side, so even if your car is broken, you can still eat. At least 4 other restaurants in walking distance. I also had to fix my car in the parking lot, and nobody bugged me about it at all. 10/10 would recommend

This place was great. Tom the manager actually has a sense of humor. He made me aware of my points without me even asking. Room was very clean and comfy. For what I paid $60 it was perfect.

Affordable prices clean rooms great service don't expect the best breakfast for the prices but I didn't care they have an amazing diner across the street some of the best steaks you'll ever have

Customer service gentleman was great had a small problem with my reservation which was my fault and he fixed it. Room was very clean and nice. Location was great.

I was so sure I would hate this place. In the middle of nowhere and costing practically pebbles in the hotel pricing pool. But this place was so nice with such comfortable beds I literally feel like I was staying at one of my friends parents house. Fivestars into very enthusiastic thumbs up.

The bed is comfortable, the shower was just what I needed with lots of room to move around.
Plenty of space to bring in my belongings.
The carpet is clean and the room smells fresh.

Excellent all the way. Sign up for the Wyndham "club" and save some money. I have stayed at this location several times and everyone is very nice, I even have "my" own room. Pets are welcome for $10.

It was fantastic! The room was perfect, and there was plenty of hot water. The coffee they've got is amazing. The staff was very quick to address all my needs. 10/10 would stay here again.

I was extremely happy with the service attendant at front desk. I checked in early am hours (still dark) and was rented a room at a discounted rate. Very friendly staff and breakfast was extremely good. I will not hesitate to stay with the Days Inn in the future.

Booked online and ended up getting here around 3am the guy at the front desk (which turned out to be the owner!) Was friendly and very welcoming as well as more than happy to let us check in so late then woke up early in the morning for breakfast and spoke with Diane she was very nice and helpful as well! If we are ever on our way back though here we will be staying again! (Step son thought it was swanky as a side note)

I am so glad I came across this motel. I showed up late in the evening with no reservation and they quickly got me settled in. The price was perfect, the room clean and cozy, and the staff was generously hospitable. Two thumbs up! Will definitely stay here again when traveling across Kansas!

Stopped in late at night on a solo road trip. Checked 4-5 places around but this was the only one that would let me stay (I am 19). Had a nice hot shower, free breakfast in the morning, and the place had decent wifi. No complaints from me.

I found this hotel to be fantastic, and my experience as a hotel manager has left me with a keen eye. I recently stayed at this hotel for a week while relocating to Russell, KS. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but not intrusive, there was something for everyone at breakfast (I was pleasantly surprised by their microwave omelettes!), the pool was pristine and very private for the location, the linens were fresh and soft, and the onsite guest laundry was well maintained and effective. In spite of the fact that I was in a pet friendly, smoking room, the room was immaculate and updated. The only issue I found during the entire week was the ice machine wasn't functioning. I didn't see it as a big deal, since there are several places to buy ice within walking distance, but the owner appeared with a bag of ice before I even made it to my room. It is unusual to find that balance between attentive and intrusive! Located just off of I-70, this place is within a stone's throw to several restaurants (Meridy's and Peking Garden were amazing!) and convenience stores. I would highly recommend, whether it's long term or just for the night.
