We stopped by here after getting gas down the street while traveling through. The family was able to get their favorite drinks for the road!

Just traveling through, we decided on Sonic. Very clean drive-up stalls and restaurant. I'm surprised that it had a bathroom. Fast and friendly service. Our food was very good, too.

Love the ice cream and cheese curds great time and it's hot when they give it to you.

I would love the Sonic staff in Russell to Please teach consistency and accuracy to the Wichita locations. Yesterday, my family and I ordered drinks and snacks and were blown away (in a great way) to see condiments and napkins. We didn’t have to push the button and ask for everything that should have been in the bag. Our drinks were 100% the way we ordered them and I was just a happy individual after that lol. Thank you for reading the tickets and making our orders the way we asked😊 We will definitely stop again the next time we roll through. Keep up the great work!

Okay, y'all... We came up this morning to a store that was so empty we thought it was closed. We pulled up anyway out of confusion. There was zero hesitation on the response to the pull up. We needed a moment but ended up settling on breakfast. We were not rushed or reminded like a lot of locations do even when it's dead. She was working alone but had extraordinary service and communication skills. We didn't mind having to wait for our orders given we had 3 meals and coffees. We got our food much faster than I typically get it at other places. It was fresh, piping hot, we had sauces, napkins; everything. I've seen pros cave on a 2 person order when they are alone and have people pulling into line. I won't post their name, but mad props to this employee/management member.

This was by far the best Sonic location I've been to across the country so far. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The food was as fresh as you can get and tasted delicious as well. Even though they were quite busy at the time. They still got my order 100% correct and got it to me very quickly. I will definitely be stopping back at this location on my travels back and forth across the country. If you traveling I-70 in Kansas and looking for a bite to eat. I highly recommend this Sonic.

Yum! There's so many choices here folks. It's nice to eat in the vehicle every now and then. Our order was fresh and hot! We had double cheeseburgers. Delicious!

Super convenient for those charging at the Tesla supercharger in the parking lot. Solid food as always!

I was going to rate this 3 stars purely because I don't generally like Sonic. However, I didn't think that would be fair. I chose the rating for what they have to offer compared to similar establishments.

As for how Sonics compare, you can't go wrong with this one. The food is nothing new, you you'll have the comfort of knowing what you are going into. What I enjoyed most is that they had side parking for people with trailers, AND those spots also had an order menu! I though that was awesome and very convinient!

I drive from St. Louis, MO to Salina, KS to get to Castle Rock, CO at least twice a year. I make it a point to stop at this location for at least a Route 44 drink. My experience has always been good! When I stopped there today, Deana took my order and handled the monetary transaction. I wanted to recognize her for her professionalism, her patience, positive attitude and overall cheeriness! She certainly made my morning and my drive to CO so much better! I will continue to stop her on my way to and back from CO. Thank you!

Used the mobile app to order while my husband was getting gas down the street. Fast service. Clean restrooms. Shaded play area for kids and several outdoor tables to stretch your legs while on a road trip. Food tasted good and I would recommend if in the area.

A little slow but to be expected on a Saturday afternoon. The tots were a bit over fried but okay when dipped. Forgot my mayonnaise packets but I managed without it.
Staff was friendly and the chicken sandwich was delicious.

I just recently moved to Russell from Hays, a near by town. I'm pleasantly surprised at the great customer service and the fast and fresh food at this Sonic! I was kind if sceptical about this and other Sonics in Kansas because they are usually hit or miss on the quality of food and customer service. But this Sonic location has made me rethink my previous statement. Not only do they have great customer service and great food quality, but if they do mess up, which has only happened once, they honor their mistakes and make sure you're happy before you leave. This is a great Sonic and I will continue coming back because they make you feel like family!

Got a great breakfast sandwich with real eggs and bacon. Real cheese instead of American would be better, but this was a great pleasant surprise! Breakfast anytime is fantastic!
