Great for kids and teens to learn and have fun too.

Great great staff and opportunities to grow in Life Groups. As big as it is, I feel as though I am important.

Now, It's time to consecrate myself and be a vessel again :)

I spent a nice little bit of time at Velocity when I was going through one of the most difficult times of my life. I was welcomed with open arms and was able to meet positive people and put time into something that filled my soul. It doesn’t matter what you believe, when you walk into Velocity you’re part of the family. If you’re free on a Sunday morning, stop in at 9 or 11 and take some time to meet some amazing people. Put yourself out there, sing along to the music, and lean in. I promise, you will feel it in your heart and you will leave with a smile on your face.

Great church! Always welcoming and low pressure for everything. Good for Christian’s who are just beginning their walk, good for Christian’s returning to their walk, or those who have been walking with Christ the whole time.

This church has been a home to me and my husband. From the minute you walk in, you feel like you matter. The life-giving worship and truth-filled sermon to follow make it so you never want to leave! We have made some of the best friends here and we continue to make amazing memories every Sunday!

Velocity Church (Pastor Justin) is awesome. I’m so thankful to have found a Church that speaks the truth in a fun way. Pastor Justin is unique in his ability to preach the word while incorporating humor into such a serious subject. Are you looking for an every day, go through the motions, boring church? If so, Velocity is NOT for you. If, on the other hand; you are looking for a high energy, God loving, emotionally impacting service then it’s DEFINITELY your place. God Bless!

WOW! We’ve attended four churches since moving to Lawrence in late December. Although Velocity is not the nearest to our home, we keep coming back! Why?! The LOVE that exudes from the people there. We are always welcomed with a smile by several greeters & made to feel like they EARNESTLY want us there in the building - and believe me, we aren’t anything particularly special. We also bring baggage: (5 kids in tow). The Youth leaders and Kids leaders remember our kids’ names. Yes, We notice! Well done, Velocity. I also really admire their generosity and giving spirit!!! Worship is dynamic, gospel-teaching is memorable! This is for everyone!

Enjoyed our time here today. Great people with a great vision for their city!

You will hear the message you need to hear and be able to apply that message immediately in your life. Bible based teachings that reach the heart, soul, and mind that strengthens daily faith. I prayed that God would lead me and my family to a fellowship that would rejuvenate, revive, and reunite us with the “living waters”.
Through God, we have found our home and our heart with Velocity Church. I have much to learn again!.... peace to you always!

I LOVE this church! The people are real, the Pastors are intentional, and there are so many ways to get connected with the church body and community. There is never any judgement here - all are welcome, no matter where you find yourself. This church truly is for EVERYONE!

An incredible experience. The people are so friendly and caring. The messages truly speak to you and Pastor Justin gives you messages that are helpful for so many of life’s ups and downs. It’s hard to believe that he can fit such powerful messages into 30 minutes.

Great teaching with practical application of scripture, great worship, and welcoming atmosphere. The leadership is very passionate about what they do, and about serving and supporting the Lawrence community. Wide range of ages and backgrounds, with lots of KU students, and plenty of teams to volunteer for and small groups to get involved in.

This place is truly amazing. They have helped me develop a relationship with people In The community and most importantly to understand my relationship with god. They have celebrated good times and helped me through some of the more difficult times.

I love this church. Pastor Justin does a great job at reaching out and welcoming those who may not feel comfortable in church. Great worship too

The times as a guest feeling welcomed and loved, the follow-up from the staff, the presence of Holy Spirit in all aspects of the service ~ 'obedience' truly 'is better than sacrifice.'

Love Velocity and their pastors. This a great place to worship and connect with people who love God and love people.
