An exceptional Thai food restaurant of Wichita, on Webb Road and on the north side of Kellogg. For my first visit here, I was served by the nicest and most polite gentleman, which made my lunch extremely pleasant. I went with one of my favorite dishes, Pad Thai, and it had a savory and flavorful sauce, with loads of tender chicken and fresh sprouts. However, if ordering this Pad Thai again, I would request a lot more scallions and for the crushed peanuts be served on top since they are very fine here. The meal did conclude well with more kind service and a complimentary piece of delicious chocolate. With the comfortable setting in the dining area, the warming service from the staff, and overall satisfying food, I can recommend Promise and will certainly return to discover a five-star dish on the menu.

I was the only patron at 4pm, but my pad thai was made fresh to order. Perfectly sweet and spicy to my request, layered with fresh cut green onions, crunchy peanuts, and crispy bean sprouts.

Classic Christmas songs with children's choruses clashed with the rambling conversation of an Asian family that came in during my meal, but paired with my delicious Thai iced coffee dessert.

After clearing my plate and feeling gratitude for such a robust, flavorful meal in quaint setting, the gentleman who served me brought a full size Toblerone with my ticket. It reminded me of my dad, who lives overseas and with whom I haven't spent a Christmas in many years.

The food was so good, and the owners were sweet and accommodating. I'd definitely recommend it.

We are from KC and we were meeting other people from out of town so we picked this place totally by location.
Total gem!! We ordered the crab Rangoon, spring rolls, pad Thai-low spice, pineapple rice and beef pan fried noodles. Everything was exceptional! We will def stop here again.

Very friendly and kind owners. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting.

Their curry is some of the best I've had. I did the Meat Musman Curry. It came out piping hot, you can taste the coconut milk it's got a sweetness to it that was delish! Service was good too!

Everything was made to order, very hot and fresh and flavorful, not greasy, with no MSG. My in-laws have come here for 15 years and Boa and Sue consistently care about good service, a welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food. Spring rolls are large and fresh with excellent dipping sauce..make sure to ask for extra sauce. My kids got the orange chicken which was crispy, rich and not just sweet like some lower quality places. My husband's Tom Kha Gai was robust, creamy and full of all the yummy flavors. I wanted to eat it all! My dinner special was a chicken and chili dish that was also very satisfying.

The table was clean not sticky!!!! The dishes are beautiful blue and white porcelain.

I highly recommend Thai Promise. The atmosphere is hospitable, and the food is excellent.

Fantastic family owned restaurant. My girlfriend always gushes over how cute the man and his wife that run this restaurant are. Will your waiter sometimes forget to refill your tea because he's watching TV with his wife in the back? Probably, but the authenticity and joy he delivers when serving you is worth it. Oh, and the food is always delicious :)

Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Service was friendly and quick. My wife enjoyed the salad with the in house prepared dressing and the ginger pork. I really enjoyed the spicy pork fried basil rice. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. 100% would recommend to others and eat there again ourselves!

I love Thai food and have tried several places in town and am a frequent goer to one. I saw this place driving by and thought I’d give it a go and I wasn’t disappointed! I went during lunch and got the Gang Musman curry. It was delicious and so fresh, and not to mention the portion size was great considering it was lunch and what I paid for it. The rice portion was also great and it was steaming hot which I love!
The gentleman who took my order was very sweet and friendly. The atmosphere inside the building is very peaceful and clean, definitely want to try some other dishes from there!

Literally- one of my top favorite 3 restaurants in Wichita. Family run, authentic cuisine, clean, friendly, large portions, made to order. Pad Thai level 4 is hot & delicious. 5 is for those of us who really like it hot. Curry of all kinds is great- lots of fresh Thai basil leaves in most dishes- YUM Red seems to be hottest. Pad Thai is super. Lunch & dinner specials are a great $ deal Flavor Bombs in every plate. Nice place to dine or come in for take away. A++++

The food is excellent, restaurant is clean and service is slow but fantastic. A husband - wife team. Food is really good but pricey. I realize food costs have gone up. But our favorite went from $13.95 to $17. So $35 before tip & tax for two for lunch is a little high!

Awesome food. I had pho and wife had pad thai. Both were so good. Traditional egg rolls too bonus points.

I love this place. The owner is kind and will take good care of you. His wife cooks incredibly flavorful Thai food. It's a quiet and comfortable place to eat too, without any annoying distractions like TVs that a lot of other restaurants have. I've gone here many times and have never been disappointed. Love their red curry and Pad Thai. The iced Thai drink and hot Jasmine tea are also very good.

This was such a wonderful find! We came for Valentine's dinner. The staff was delightful. My steamed rice was molded into a heart and they gave us a wonderful gift of chocolates after our meal. The food is amazing! The restaurant is sparkling and the staff is gracious beyond words. So sweet. We have been back three times since and the service and food remains consistent. On top of all of this they donated a gift certificate to my daughters' school raffle basket. Please go, you will not be disappointed.

Gracious couple that was there, accommodated us just before closing time. The food was exceptional and delicious and the ambiance appropriate along with gracious service. The place was clean. We were fortunate to find Promise - Thai Cusine on our Roadtrip while we were passing through.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for over 10 years. It is really amazing food. I love their Thai ribs, basil chicken stir fry, yellow curry and Penang curry. Their Tom yum soup is amazing as well. They have other dishes I love and these listed are just some of my favorites.
