Cafe Maurice

My mom and I stopped there for what we call "Linner", it's a late lunch or an early dinner. I had a cup of their beef vegetable soup, my mom had a bowl of tomato soup, and we shared the beef hummus shawarma with a side of fresh veggies. Everything tasted fine although I could have used more seasoning for my food. The service was impeccable! The young lady hostess/server was friendly greeting us when we walked in and continued with her cheerful attitude throughout our stay and extended her friendliness and cheerfulness to every customer that walked in the door. The atmosphere is pleasant and I would definitely recommend a brunch with loved ones or get together with friends. They even serve a complimentary piece of tiramisu at the end of the meal as a nice little surprise!!!

Oh my word! So fresh and delicious 💜 Wish I could eat here everyday! The cool puts love into every dish. We'll be going back every chance we get!

Tonight was my second visit here- the first was with my work group for lunch. Both times were deliciously delightful! My husband hasn't had much exposure to Mediterranean food, but the food here impressed him. Our waitress was helpful and friendly, our meal was delivered with timeliness, and the owner came around to each table to welcome and thank each guest, enquiring of their meal. We will be back!

Cafe Maurice must be one of the best restaurants in wichita. When people care, it always shows. We have never been disappointed with our dining experience here. We have also used them for catering our parties in the past and always were very pleased. My compliments to the owner, chefs, and the staff for having pride in your work.

Great place , great food. Waitress was good, but was trying to do everything. Answer phone, seat people, ring customers up, so somewhat neglected us in timely manner for checking out. We were there early but had a mtg we needed to get to.1 hr 15 minutes. She was great waitress, just tried to handle it all . Yes there was other staff. I also find that answering the phone while dealing with in person customers is rude. You could answer and ask them to hold please. I'm there with my money ready to pay you.

After days of driving and enough fast food to make me sick, we settled into a nearby hotel and I looked for something REAL. The Café Maurice food photos in google maps looked so delicious, and I needed quality. I was not disappointed. I wanted so many things on the menu I could only wish we weren't just passing through - if I lived here I'd come back frequently. We started with an appetizer of cabbage rolls, they were excellent. I decided on vegetable soup and Greek salad because my stomach craved fresh. Everything I had was wonderful. My husband had a burger with Swiss, ham, and an abundance of cabbage slaw on toasted bun, and he loved it. The complimentary tiramisu was a perfect ending. How nice! Our server Maria was very attentive and friendly. Overall we could not have been more pleased with everything.

I was astonished the first time i walked into the newly remodeled space! Second only to the delicious food! You must dine here! Everything on the menu is superb! We hope our reviews give you an idea of what it is like to live, work, and play in Wichita Kansas!

The gyro was excellent as was the baba ganoush was equally good. Service was pleasant and attentive.

I've been many times possibly my favorite hummus in ICT. Love the tiny tirimisu for dessert! I usually get the chicken kabab pita but the salads are excellent as well.

Great location. Feels more like an upscale restaurant but prices are affordable. The gyro shwarma platter with vegetables and rice was delicious and made with fresh pan fried vegetables. The meat pies were a little pricey for what you get but the flavor was on spot. We'll be back!

It is a wonderful place to eat at. The price is very manageable but the quality is not compromised. Plus, FREE TIRAMISU with food! How can you not like that? I would 100% recommend this place.

Great service, delicious food, and it always tasted so fresh. Try the Maurice's salad with chicken. It's amazing!

Mushroom soup flavorful, creamy-rich and so soothing. Spinach pies delightful pastry packed with flavor. Tiramisu fantastic texture with a combination of creamy excellence.

Service was great. Food was delicious. First time there, won't be the last.

We've been a long time patron of this restaurant. My wife loves it more than I do but I can't deny that the food is great here. We've probably tried all of the food on the menu. I really like the tiramisu cake as a complimentary dessert. The service has always been quick. There's really no cons I can write about.

So awesome that I thought for a moment I had "morphed" back to my hometown in Bremerhaven Germany where we have excellent cafes and restaurants, and peoples of all nations share foods and good times, no one feels threatened, our law enforcement has the well earned respect and responsibilty to respond to keep people safe, and enforce Just laws, and peace in the midst of the bay and city.
