I had my right knee replaced March of 2023, and Dr Shepherd did a fantastic job. At Advanced Physical Therapy in Derby it was openly discussed that Dr Shepherd's incision was by far the best they had ever seen! Just Great care and fantastic results! Best office and Best doctor… period!

I recently had a total hip replacement done by Dr. Jeff Shepherd. The doctor and total staff from check-in to dismissal were top notch. This is my second surgery with Advanced Orthopaedics and I highly recommend them. I live 2 1/2 hrs. away and drive specifically to Wichita to see Dr. Shepherd and Tom Swan, his PA.

Dr. Shepherd and Dr. Tom are the BEST ever!! Terrific bedside manner. Always greet with a smile and a handshake. My knee replacement turned out FANTASTIC!! I actually get so many compliments on my incision site. People always ask if he used a laser because it’s so straight and very thin! My TKR has been a breeze. Thanks all go to these two and their team! Highly, highly, highly recommend!!

I was very happy to see Dr. Shepherd again. He agreed with me that it was time for a knee replacement. He was able to make the appointment for surgery within 5 weeks of my visit. He also answered all of my questions about what to expect. He has a excellent way of letting you know what to expect, but in a very calm manner. I did not leave feeling anxious about the surgery.

Dr Shepherd has put together a great staff/team. His professional manner makes you very comfortable and anxiety free. What can I say besides Thank You very much.

Dr Shepherd and his staff in office no3 are awesome. The front desk at AOA and reception staff are not very nice.

I saw Tom the PA about my hip and he didn't think the shot like I had twice before would help this time. Tom thinks it might be a back problem and suggested to try the Medrol Dosepak before we do anything else. If this doesn't help my hip, may have to do a MRI and further investigation.

Great surgeon. Answered all my questions. Didn’t seem rushed to see the next patient.

My visit with AOA and Dr. Shepherd was excellent in every aspect of a physician’s appointment. Efficient, Clean and Respectful. All medical professionals should conduct their business like this!

Didn't have to wait long. The entire staff were very friendly and helpful, even though they had movers moving filing systems and office furniture out, preparing for a near future move. Dr. Shepherd was very patient and thorough.

I did not see the doctor, I saw the PA and he was wonderful and full of information and showed me the parts for the knee replacement.

Went in for a RKTR. Highly recommend this team. I was amazed at the scar looking so good. Before long it will be hardly noticeable. I’m very thankful not to have staples. Really appreciated his PA, Tom, who has such knowledge and patience, and took the time to answer all my questions. Never felt rushed. This truly made a difference. The team was always available by phone for more questions about meds and surgery and such. They were never hard to get a hold of. Highly recommend.

Dr Shepherd & his nurse Meghan were very attentive & efficient. They provided a sense of comfort & plausible answers within a few minute in AOA along with the next step for progress! Thanks to the friendly front desk as well! 👍

The staff and Dr. Shepherd were very nice and helpful. Didn't much care for having to pay the extra money to have them file paperwork for my fmla leave then be told it would cost be additional money to file the paperwork for my short-term disability paperwork when really I could fill in most of it by myself just needed Doctor signature but it said to have Doctor fill it out. Otherwise I would strongly recommend this Doctor to family and friends.

Dr. Shepherd and his entire team are so professional and so positive. I have had great results each time I have been to see him. Would highly recommend him to family and friends.

Thank you Dr. Shepard! I can't say enough thank yous on how good my knees felt the next day from the steroid shot. I know it's temporary but it gets me down the road that much longer. Totally impressed with your staff other than the two bronco fans working the desk.Ha! They inform me that you were a bronco fan also. So please do not use a dull knife on me when it comes to operating time because I am a die hard super bowl champion Chiefs fan right now! Ha! Thanks again! Look forward to seeing you again in May!

Dr. Shepherd was able to give me all of the options available for the issues I have been experiencing. He explained in detail any questions I had and made me feel comfortable with decision made for my treatment. His staff was helpful and polite.

Dr. Shepard is an excellent surgeon. He explained every issue regarding my treatment clearly, and made time to answer all of my questions. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Dr. Shepherd is like I remember him from years ago. He has great bedside manners, is kind, and willing to get to the bottom of your problem. His PA and nurses were also kind and thoughtful. Glad to be back working with these people. Thank you!

I was able to get in and speak with Dr. Sheperd about having a knee revision. He spoke with me about what the best procedure would be for and to better my lifestyle. Highly recommend him to anyone having orthopedic problems such as knee and hips. I believe he does work on other parts too..
