Basecamp Cafe and Bar

Love the idea! They're in a cavernous, modern space and have melded outdoor gear rental with cafe offerings quite well. A great hangout spot. I'm not involved in the outdoor activities, but I'm more inspired to after having gone. They only serve coffee/tea, beer, and baked goods. Would like to see some savory options.

This place has it all. The decor is on point, the coffee is fantastic and the staff are lovely. I definitely will be coming back. They also do a lot of outdoor activities, it’s a new place but it’s definitely going to get busy once more people find out about it.

I truly love this place. Delicious coffee. But the best part was the cafe interior. One of the coziest and coolest cafes I’ve been in. Nice place to study and relax. The interior was designed really nicely. Definitely recommend stopping here for a study break or just to chill.

Big fan of the tea selection. Latte was very good too. Great space to work or hang out with friends. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Cozy vibes despite the large space and good coffee. Seems like a good place to get work done as well as there were a lot of customers on laptops.

The outdoorsy vibes are immaculate, it’s a huge shop, the service was so kind and helpful, and my cordato had a heart on it. Very cozy place.

Never had a bad drink here!! The turmeric milk and pumpkin spice latte and apple pie latte have all been great! it’s quite expensive but that’s Seattle. Good place to work too lots of outlets

The best rosemary latte I’ve ever had. Such good coffee! Place was crowded constantly with limited seating but would love to visit again when I return to Seattle.

A great place to hang out and meet other adventure seekers. They have lots of gear and outdoor activities planned. Can't wait to come back.

Very cool concept place that offers monthly memberships to get people connected though adventures. Weekly hiking, biking, boating meetups. Membership includes tons of perks, including gear rental. Or just come in for a relaxed place to work and have a coffee, make friends.

Gearhouse is an excellent cafe, with super tasty coffee open to the public. They've got other nice looking beverages on tap. It also doubles as gearshed for me to support my outdoor activities. The gear is top quality, and as a member free to rent. You know what else is free as a member? Coffee and tea.
While I'm procrastinating from computer work, I love to check out the maps and day dream summer hikes and scrambles.

Great/comfy place, great staff, clean. Even though the place is always full, I don't have a problem finding a place to sit. Food is always scarce and happy hour is about an hour- haven't had a chance to give it a try

bright and roomy, with lots of outlets. it’s my favorite place to study/work! the baristas are lovely and the drinks are consistently good. they also have a limited but generally decent selection of food. the gearhouse also holds community events which i think is super cool!

Absolutely my new favorite cafe/WHF hub. The employees are all so lovely, the coffee is great and the vibes are immaculate. Come for a cozy hang out on the couches in the retro gear-themed space, or get some work done in the booths. I love this place!

What a great place! I stopped by on my way to work this morning and ended up staying for a bit looking around at the cool pictures they have up on their walls and their activities board.
The coffee is good, the service very friendly and they had lots of space for sitting.
I will most definitely come back 😊

This coffee shop is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. I love their oat milk caramel lattes and the work space they've created. The cozy atmosphere inside is perfect for working or socializing. But what truly makes this place special is the outdoor gear rentals. It's so convenient to grab a coffee and rent a paddle board for the day, or check out camping gear for the weekend all in one spot. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to offer tips for your outdoor adventures. It's a must-visit for coffee lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

Just came in for a quick, new coffee (wife loves lattes).... and we're still here! She loves the space and atmosphere for studying!

Excellent coffee at a good price and good beer when the caffeine stage of the day is over. The seating is excellent. Lots of plugs and table space perfect for working on the latest draft of your book or just answering a few emails, and comfortable chairs perfect for a good read.

Love this cafe. Best on the hill.

Very spacious atmosphere, books, warm and cozy vibes. My Americano was ready quickly and it was delicious. Great spot for group meetups.

Couldn’t speak more highly of this spot. There are plenty of comfortable and cozy work spots to set up, great coffee, and the space is filled with interesting, adventure provoking materials, given it is also Gearhouse’s rental space, and Basecamp, which you can join to have access to outdoor gear and outdoor community. The owner, Evan, is an awesome person, and always available for a friendly chat. Definitely worth a visit, or five, and a look into their gear programs. Thanks for existing!
