Budget Car Rental

Was able to get into rental car with minimal time and was placed in a brand new Ford escape. Still had writing on the windows front and side. Could have been cleaned off for visibility but was a great car. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Received emailed receipt promptly and everything was in order. Great little place in MCI to get a rental. Had to take a shuttle bus to the rental place and then back to the airport but was only 5-7 minutes ride.

We had a great experience renting with budget at Kansas City airport and will definitely do it again! Drew made our experience one of a kind after a long day of travel and we greatly appreciate his patience and working with us after a crazy request. Highly recommend!

Drew was most patient and helpful with our extremely complicated and nuanced requests. We were not sure what we wanted and kept changing our minds. He remained calm and in good spirits until we were finally confident about our rental decision. Five stars! Thank you, Drew!

The car I had reserved wasn't available and the desk clerk offered me a free upgrade to either a mustang or a charger.... At my age it's difficult to get in or out of one of those, as tempting as it was, and I said so. She went to check inventory and came back with a Jeep Gladiator for the same price. Nice vehicle! Return was a breeze, just make sure you have a pen handy, if you turn it in before regular business hours, so you can fill out the paperwork. Service was quick and I had my car in less than 15 minutes.

They let me upgrade to a Beautiful brand new Ford F-250 at an affordable price. It made my 1 week vacation in Kansas City very memorable. The service I received at the front desk there at the airport was absolutely fantastic.

My flight ran really late. It was after midnight when I got to the counter. The guy at the counter made the process so easy. The return was quick and easy too. Thanks Budget!

Fantastic customer service to and fro! The counter was professional, curteous and prompt. I was allowed to check in 30 minutes before my reservation. They upgraded my original choice to the 250.

Upon return, I left my sunglasses in the truck. By this time the line had gotten long. A gentleman working behind the counter realized I was just there, pulled me out of line and immediately provided service. He took me out to retrieve my sun glasses with no complaints.

I'd recommend Budget at KCI if needed. I also booked through Costco, which they honored.

Never wrote a review before but Logan I think his name was who helped me here was great. It was a crazy time trying to get me a rental with different policies and my age but he got me one. He honestly saved my trip and great to work with. Thank you and if I ever need a car over here again Hopefully I’ll get to work with him or someone of that standard again!

Let me tell you a little story about a man named Ken!

I had been stuck in KC for three extra days and was wondering if I might never get home to CA. My flights had been canceled and stay extended to a point where I had to do laundry, and my wife wasn't with me, so I had to get home.

I asked Hertz if they would do a one-way rental, and they said, No! I asked Avis if they would do a one-way rental, and they said No! I then jumped in line at Budget! There was a lady in front of me, a man behind me, and one clerk! Reason for not getting 5 stars.

Anyway, I get to the counter after what felt like a day, but I know it wasn't, the kid behind the counter was killing it with speed and accuracy, so it moved faster than I anticipated. So I tell the man, what I need, A one-way to Fresno. He says, YES! The cost was very high, but I really missed my family and needed clean clothes.

I was expecting a Geo Metro, but instead received a Chevy Traverse! Brand new, 4500 miles.

I jumped in and took off.

The gate checker was polite and showed she was human when I explained where I was going. She even wished me safe travels.

The kid at the counter was incredible! Smart, fast and courteous! Great guy!

I've been a Hertz or Avis guy my whole life. From here on out, I'm trying Budget first!

I rented a car from Budget Car Rental at the Kansas City airport. It was a great experience from start to finish. I will most definitely rent from Budget in the future. The staff here is amazing. I'm sorry I didn't catch the gentleman's name that helped us, but he has helped us a couple times now. (I'll get his name on the next trip) We always get the vehicle we ask for and great customer service all the way around. If you're renting a car, this is the place to go. The prices are great and the personable staff makes this is an easy decision for such a competitive market.

I received outstanding service from budget in KCI upon receiving a very comfortable vehicle. The vehicle that I expected would not have given me the ease of handling my family members with such perfect handling. Three elderly family members over 82 years of age and multiple equipment. Thank you.

The staff was extremely friendly when I arrived. They initially assigned me a vehicle that faintly smelled of smoke. When I told them about the smell they were extremely apologetic, immediately placed me in a new vehicle with a few upgrades (navigation system, etc.). The second vehicle was very nice and my overall experience was great. Price was reasonable. Will definitely be using them again.

I had a great experience with Budget. The men who operated the desk were very courteous and helpful. They took time to answer questions. Returning the car was easy and convenient. Again the service was great. Yes, I would gladly use Budget again.

I had a really good experience here. I did my reservation online and was kind of anxious after reading all of the bad reviews this place has. However upon arrival the process went so smoothly, my agent had everything in order and was very professional. Within 10 minutes of arriving I was driving out in a pristine 2018 Toyota 4Runner. Return was just as smooth and had no problems. Prices were also the lowest of all the rentals at the airport.
