Great quality food, very nice options, including for vegetarian. Nice selection of delicious coffee. Seating, available outside or inside, and great spot for larger groups or children.

The service was top notch! Friendly and efficient! The food option was awesome! Everything was just right! Very vibrant space and environment! Right around the corner from Yale university. Definitely check this place out if you are in the New Haven area!

New Haven, CT. East Rock’s most delicious breakfast & lunch spot. Located on Whitney Ave. open until 4 (except Mondays) we enjoyed a perfect Latte, Coconut Quinoa Porridge, and avocado toast. On a day of torrential rain Poppy’s was perfect. The space is light and bright, bustling with patrons, incredible service and delicious food. Highly recommend.

Amazing breakfast spot for friends or family visiting. Portions are huge and really filling The pancakes are really something else. Definitely recommend

Went in the morning for breakfast. Place has simple but cool decor. We had egg Benny & avacado toast with poached egg. It was delicious, could taste freshness of the quality ingredients used. Loved it!! Also had cortado, which was nice too. We will definitely go back & would recommend it!!

Nice new cafe in New Haven. The food was delicious and the indoor seating was both spacious and comfortable. The pancakes were fluffy and had berries in every bite and the eggs in the Eggs Benny were cooked and seasoned perfectly.

Extremely stoked to have a new tasty coffee shop in the neighborhood! Hip aesthetic, bubbly and friendly staff, delicious food and drinks. I got the avocado toast + poached eggs and a dirty iced chai latte and it was delightful. They roast beans on site with a wild looking machine - Will be back!

Lovely brunch spot near Yale. Light, fresh dishes and pastries, and refreshing coffees and teas. The Arnold Palmer was a pleasant surprise on a hot summer day!

Wow! Been to Poppy’s multiple times already and they continue to impress. The staff is super friendly and accommodating but the best part is that the food is delicious! Highly recommend the Benny or the Pancakes - a new favorite!

I had a nice experience at Poppy’s! Great atmosphere; it’s spacious with plenty of natural lighting and a cute patio out front. Service was friendly and fast. Had a nice cortado and the coconut quinoa porridge was so yummy and satisfying. Generous portions and fairly priced.

The food—Açaí Bowl—Eggs Benny and the Cortado coffee were incredible! Tasty, fresh—the Huevos Rachero also amazing! Atmosphere is chill and beautiful, staff is friendly and the food rocks. My favorite place for brunch in New Haven! So excited that Poppy’s is here!

The açai bowl here is so goood.

The prices may seem a little on the higher side. But the portion size and quality of food is really good.

you know when u want a perfect pancake that’s fluffy yet dense and moist? that’s what you’ll get at poppy’s :) highlights for me were the buttermilk pancakes and avocado toast!
