The Station Restaurant Bar

We stopped in for lunch and had an amazing experience. The building itself is a transformed train station; what a wonderful job with excellent decor. The building is sectioned off into 3 different parts-1. Takeout, 2. Bar area, 3. Dining area. We were in the dining area for lunch.
What an excellent lunch. We started off with the cod croquettes, which were absolutely delicious. The croquettes were silky smooth and served with some sort of corn chimichurri mix. So good! For lunch I had the steak grinder with sweet potato fries and my girlfriend had the chorizo. Both our meals were excellent. The service was top notch, we definitely will be coming back for dinner.

The Station has a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere for dining. Tables are spaced appropriately apart which provides somewhat of a private dining space. Service was prompt and the staff was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu, able to answer any questions with clear answers.
The noise level can be a bit loud when there are many customers but table separations make conversations possible without having to raise your voice.
Everyone in our party of four was very satisfied. The portions served are very generous. The fish and chips were excellent with a thin breading which stayed crisp.
There is a separate bar area at one end of the restaurant.
All in all, a very pleasant dining experience.

Love the atmosphere here and the history of the building. The food being fantastic just completes the experience.

Had dinner here with a friend tonight and everything was great. The appetizers, meal and drinks were all perfect. Our waiter was attentive to us and really nice. It was busy, we had reservations and were seated immediately. It’s definitely loud but not to the point where you can’t have a conversation with your table. Cute decor and nice setup. I will definitely return to have dinner with my family. I recommend the fettuccine with chicken and the bacon wrapped scallops.

My partner and I are both Gluten Free and Dairy Free, there were a decent amount of options for us! The gluten free pasta dish was incredible (they let you sub gf penne in nearly every pasta dish) and the NY strip was delicious as well. The atmosphere was really nice, beautiful inside, not too casual or too fancy, the music was actually great, the drinks were good. The portion were great, we left full and satisfied! Will definitely be back! 👍

The food was excellent! The octopus was the highlight of the meal. The striped bass was cooked perfectly and the risotto was amazing ! My daughter loved her burger & the fries were seasoned and crispy!!!Service was superb we will be back !!

We have been here several times. And every time the food is excellent. They have a large variety of different things to choose from.. They have an amazing drink menu, and their desserts are delicious.. We have had different servers every time, and they are all excellent. We most recently had a tall guy, and he was great. My water was never empty, and there were never dirty plates on my table.. Their Portuguese food was delicious. The Portuguese shrimp was so good that we soaked up the remaining sauce with our bread. The same goes for the sauce in the scallops wrapped in bacon. As for the vibe, it is a very cool place. The interior is decorated very nice, and the outdoor patio in front is great in the summer they have very nice landscaping, and it's just a very pretty spot to sit. My kids especially love when the train comes whooshing by, which it did twice while we had dinner. So overall this is one of my family and my own favorite spots for a delicious meal drinks and desserts. With a great staff that goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best possible experience at this amazing place

We visited on Friday, March 24th for dinner. My fiancé had the lasagna dinner while I had the Buffalo chicken wrap with sweet potato fries. Our waiter, Spiro, was professional and friendly. The setting was unique and gave an old fashioned look with a contemporary vibe.
Went back in December. The food was wonderful as it was the first time. I highly recommend the chicken marsala!

Party of 6 they called us like 2x Since our reservation was for 6pm and they were closing the doors at 6 as well. I talked to the hostess and I asked if they would be lenient for 10 minutes since some of our parties were coming out of town she was super nice and she replied with I will try my best to work with you just keep me updated if you know you will be late and that was very kind of her. We got there at 6:50 and the hostess spotted us and she started getting our table ready and when we got inside she came up to us and greeted us and told us to give her a minutes. she went upstairs to go get two chairs and I saw that she asked one of her coworker to help her with the table upstairs but he refused and you could see the disappointment in her face but she looked over to a party and smiled and said please give me a minute I’m so sorry. She got another girl to go upstairs with her and left the table as they were walking down another gentleman took the table from them. We could see that the hostess was out of breath and she was trying to catch her breath but It did not stop her until we were seated. When we were eating I guess two people came in and they said they had reservations and the hostess kindly explained to them that She have nothing for you on the books and that because they stopped seating at 6pm. The couple were a little rude to her considering the fact that we were called to be asked if we could come before 6 and they show up at 6:30??? The hostess kindly said just give me a moment and she went to the kitchen and when she came back the lady asked her if the bar will stay open as usual she said no and she said that everything stopped at 6 PM but they could take the couple at they bar if they want to they could sit at the bar. SO I’M GUESSING THEY DIDN’T CLOSE AT 6pm since we were rushed to get there??? Other than that we enjoyed it!

I had a early dinner here on Saturday night. I had the chicken marsala with potato and vegetables. Also had an espresso, it was great. The food was fantastic, very tasty and really well made. The price point I thought was very low for the atmosphere and quality of everything. The table bread and oil was great. The salad was very nice, greens mix with olives, peppers, cherry tomatoes and red onion. I would definitely come back and would recommend this to all. This place was great and our waitress was spot on. She was very sweet, friendly and attentive, (The best). Fantastic parking. Outside dinning. Came back 12/31/23 and had a incredible lunch with my family. Great service and the food was consistently the same as the last time I have been here. One if the best restaurants to go in Connecticut.

Wonderful atmosphere in a historic train station that has been renovated and refreshed to support a vibrant restaurant. Stopped in for lunch and really hope to go back for dinner. Our server was fantastic and the food portions are very generous. You will have leftovers to take home unless you share with your dining guests! Highly recommend!!

I like this restaurant. Especially the cheeseburger deluxe. It is very good. I highly recommend this restaurant. Also it's right next to the metro north train in Naugatuck. So if you need somewhere to go it's right there.

This was a great moms night out for myself and some friends 😊 drinks were great, food excellent and just a fun atmosphere!! Can't wait to take my husband sometime soon!!

Rick was our server, and he is awesome. Efficient, informative, and nice to talk to! The baked scallops were the best I ever ate and there were plenty of them. My husband had pork chops and they were also delicious. The restaurant itself is historic and beautiful. We will stop there again!

What an amazing meal we all had tonight! The place was full, plenty of patio seating. Our waitress was truly an angel, her name was Trish. She was a great listener, personable, funny, and had excellent timing for refills, and other table needs. We all left with a doggie bag of leftovers. Check out the photos. Chicken Venezia over angel hair, Chicken Saltimbocca, Chicken Marsala, Zuppa De Pesce, Fettuccini Alfredo, the most yummy meals.

The food is good. The atmosphere is great.
I had lobster bisque as a appetizer. shrimp scampi my main course with ginger ale.
The waitress was excellent.

Lovely place to have dinner with a few friends. It was not noisy,so you can have a conversation and hear each other. Wait staff was very good as was the food !!!

Beautiful restaurant inside. A true gem in Naugatuck. The dishes are prepared with a creative flair. The spiced olive oil they server with the bread is reason enough to come. I really enjoy their pasta dishes.

So grateful for the Gluten Free (GF) selections. On Sat. 12/23/23, I ordered the garlic oil GF pasta with grilled shrimp and it was delicious!! Excellent service. Great surroundings. We'll be back!!
