This place is absolutely amazing! It is like walking into Little Italy or your Italian grandmother's kitchen. The food is homemade on site. For example, the pasta and cheeses are made and sold, on site. As a result, the food is authentic, Italian style, and just bursting with flavor and freshness. With loads of variety, this store has so much to offer! My favorite part is the café! Nothing like having an espresso or cappuccino while you shop. If you don't have time to cook a dinner, not a problem. Just pick up something to go. I wish I had a place like this closer to where I live.

Located in Ramsey, Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace has been a Long Island-based company since 1998, with 11 stores across New York and New Jersey. After tasting the catered food from a recent milestone event, my partner and I decided to pay this high-quality Italian-inspired grocery store, considered one of the top 5 gourmet markets in Bergen County, a visit this Saturday afternoon. First visit, and all we can say is WOW! Upon entering, this establishment features a deli, pizzeria, bakery, and several departments, including meat, produce, seafood, and gourmet cheese. They also have a candy counter, a gelato station, a coffee bar, and a pasta room where customers can see fresh ravioli and pasta being made. The aisles are wide, and everything’s clean and fresh-looking. Kudos to them, as they even have doors in the dairy section so that no one is freezing like in other supermarkets. Well worth a visit!

Uncle Giuseppe's is the Happiest Place on Earth. It is the Disney World of FOOD. Seriously have not seen so many delectable items, all-in-one place, since being in actual Italy. My first visit nearly brought me to tears, brought me to my knees, it is INCREDIBLE!! Because of Uncle G's, I know that someday I will have to return to NJ for good :) Thanks Uncle G!

The place is enlivened with excellent live music, a man who sings beautifully and with love and attention full of magic for the children.

Always enjoy their deli area. This location is clean and accommodating.

Wow! Be ready for the finest specialty grocery store ever to be created! You'll need extra time, empty belly, and money (you get what you pay for)! I'm sorry I didn't take more photos....I was in a rush. Definitely worth the drive & I'm from NC!

A lot of their groceries can be pricier than some of the surrounding area's, but their prepared meals are a huge savings. If it says that it serves 2, that's 2 with a lot of leftovers, and the same is true for 4. I highly recommend stopping in to see what they have to offer, but you definitely want to be there early.

Neil Dankman can sing every single classic you can think of. His voice is angelic and beautiful.

Large well stocked supermarket. The bakery is why I ventured into the supermarket. I purchased 2 cakes at a reasonable price. I was going to my relatives, in Suffern, NY, for Sunday dinner. Everybody enjoyed the chocolate cream pie and the carrot cake. They were delicious.

Picked up a beautiful custom cake. Beautiful store friendly staff.

Fatsos beware. You definitely can go overboard here. There's so much delicious food and it's all tantalizingly displayed with a generous amount of free samples. From the outstanding extensive deli counter to the enormous selection in their cheese department, it's all good. In fact, all departments are grand in scale. Nice tasty hot to go with a seating area to eat in store, if you choose.
Aisles are wide and everything is clean and fresh looking. All the staff are helpful and friendly. Special kudo to Patty our, helpful and patient, checkout cashier.

This is one of the top 5 gourmet quality supermarkets in Bergen county. Even ordinary produce is excellent quality and presented beautifully (see photos). In every category they offer a huge variety and it is freshly prepared.
There is a bakery, butcher section with every kind of meat, sausage, and deli meat, prime meats, a special room just to make fresh mozzarella, freshly made soups and sauces, a sushi bar with sushi you can eat there or take home, and an assortment of whole bean coffees you can grind to order. Well worth a visit just for the mozzarella - the best we have found.

Nicely kept friendly staff store is super clean and when you’re in jersey it is the absolute one of my top two choices of the best place to grab pizza from. I know that sounds crazy but it’s the truth the pizza is super good and reasonably priced. Also they have truffle rice balls that are really good as well. Lots of selections of cheese, sandwiches and salads the store just has that Italian Brooklyn type vibe (nothing is ever Brooklyn but it’s does a good job at being close)

Many things fresh made - found dinner for 3 with completely different tastes / food allergies. Items reheated in a microwave very easily. Found unique gift items.

My husband and I visited this store while we’re in town. It was full of wonderful food. I so wish we had one where we live - PA. Where else can you shop for great food, while eating AND have a live entertainment!
Neil the singer at the store was so fun. He even did a special song to us because it was our anniversary. Thanks for the memories!

Visited in mid-December. They have an enormous selection of giftable foods and beautifully decorated gift basket. Their produce and bakery sections are amazing.

Everything Italian and a sushi bar.
You can really go nuts in here. The Tuscan wings were delicious. I bought homemade pasta, their marinara sauce, stuffed peppers, marsala sauce, and fresh bread with sausage. Everything was excellent. 40 minutes away but worth the trip!

Best Italian food market....EVER! And unbelievably "THE" best live, and in the flesh, singer of 50's, 60's, 70's Italian songs on the weekends!
My God, great Italian food products, real deal Italian bakery, Italian meats & cheeses, gorgeous prepared foods that appear limitless, homemade pastas, sauces, breads "AND" a singer? It just couldn't get any better! This place is phenomenal!

First time visitor at an Uncle Giuseppe establishment. I must say it was a great experience. Every employee was very helpful. The samples were amazing, but my favorite part was the live entertainment by NEIL DANKMAN. It ‘‘twas like no other experience I’ve had before, truly a job well done. Looking forward to my next visit back to Uncle Giuseppe’s in Ramsey Nj.
